This is one that I'll have to listen to over and over just to keep that warm feeling going. We need to hear more of these kinds of stories in life. Thank you.

What an angel, all those gifts for other people, but the most special gift of all was the joy in her heart. Love this.

What a wonderful chapter of her giving heart. I love this chapter, so far the most. She had a surprise blessing of the old catalogs having more value than what she could ever imagine for that time in her life. She turned her blessing into blessing so many more in her family and community, with only keeping the new catalog for herself so she could remember that joyful day for the rest of her life. Then she was blessed with the man telling her to pick out anything from the catalog and he would make it for her. Heartwarming, sweet and yes, I felt the emotion behind it.

Wonderful chapter. The true gift is the joy in giving, not getting. Thank you Tipper.

I think this might be my favorite book yet! I love all of them. Hearing this story today reminds me of back when I was a child and time was simpler and I think better. They truly were the good old days! ❤️

This reading touched my heart! I know I say 'this is my favorite' with each book you read, but it really is my favorite so far! I loved how the Post Office was declared open right in Corey's room by Amos, who fetched the packages/barrels to Corey's home, and said, Corey, your mail has arrove! Thank you for sharing Pap's story about the pinecones; that story is a perfect foundation for a devotion or message about the sweetness of the Christmas season.

That was a beautiful reading, Tipper 😊 i loved hearing about Corie's generosity to her friends and neighbours. It reminds me of a Christmas a few years ago where my youngest son, Roo, put a little toy train on lay-by. Any little bit of money he got during the year, he diligently went and put it on this lay-by, hoping to pay it off by Christmastime. Well, two weeks before Christmas, Archie decided that he wanted to pay off the last money owed on the train and give it to Roo as a surprise. Christmas came, and Archie gave the parcel to Roo who opened it and promptly announced "This is for you, Archie, I had it on lay-by to give to you for Christmas." It was a beautiful moment. • What a wonderful reading today! It really touched my heart and made me cry. It always seems that people who have the least always give the most and receive their joy from giving. It reminds me of taking our family to El Salvador many years ago. Our youngest was 4 years old. We went to visit my husbands godmother and one of her grandsons around 8 years old was playing marbles and was showing our son how to play. When we were getting ready to leave he gave our son half of his marbles. He was so happy to give even though he had so little and we came from somewhere where we had so much, I cried then also and we went back to visit again before we left for home and made sure we took a special gift for this wonderful child.
  • I didn't tear up, I straight up sobbed! Oh how my heart needed this sweetness!! I love how her gift was the joy of giving to her friends, far more than material things. Warms the heart to remember what really matters. Thank you for bringing this story to our lives!
