Oh wow that was a great chapter. My favorite part was how they all came together and helped build a new house for them and they had a change of heart about those people so a great story.😊

I wait all week for this!! This was such a heartwarming chapter. It just goes to show that most folks have good in their heart even if it takes a little extra work to draw it out.

Every time you say the last name, I smile because it's so close to my own. I'm so happy that granny saved the day and the family was integrated

How very brave Granny Hite was to go up against all those men . Nor did she forget the helping hand of the Lord . Enjoyed dear !

Zelda’s reaction to the angry mob, reminds me of my favorite scene from To Kill a Mockingbird. When Scout says hello to Mr. Cunningham, her innocence/kindness disarms the angry men. They also become ashamed of their actions and no longer feel the need to harm anyone.

Granny sure was a kind hearted, caring woman to be brave enough to help the foreigners and stand up to those me. She was right God was with the woman and protected her family. The thing is we are all foreigners in this world, because this world is not our final home. Great story! Thank you for reading it Tipper!
