In this video I show you what a typical practice session looks like for me this off-season! I think having structure makes it easier to be intent and focused on every shot. You can also adjust everything. Make the circle larger or smaller, or have multiple circles for the different distance throws.

Here's the link to the spreadsheet! docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nAeERXxnDPvGK6nu-z…

One thing I forgot to mention is that ideally you adjust the circle, distance, etc to where you typically are successful at least 50% of the time. We don't want to practice missing shots if that makes sense. (Partly why I don't putt past 55') I think for the mental side of the game we want to practice being successful. We also don't want it to be too easy tho, it should still be a challenge to get all or most of them in. Just a thought.

"We dont want a 5 hour video on youtube" - you greatly underestimate how much we love your content This is going to absolutely change the way I practice. Its so logical but so much more helpful than just going to a field and throwing every disc in my bag a couple times and calling it a day

Dang, I didn't realize how much thought and everything goes into the practice sessions, that's beyond impressive man! If you keep up the grind like this we should see you on a lot of lead cards next year!

Those construction workers looked like they wanted to join in on the fun! Great job as always promoting this wonderful game Ezra! You are a true pioneer!
  • I would say that you have become one of my favorite MPO players and love your YouTube videos. This was SUPER helpful to see how you go about practice and this dedication will soon land you the top of the leaderboard! Great work man!

Dig it... Man with a plan. Thanks for sharing the gritty details! Yes I enjoyed, yes I learned something, and likely will implement something very similar for myself. Cheers
  • Glad I found this, been wanting a better routine for fieldwork than just throwing my whole bag a bunch.

You are dialed! I love how you keep track of your practice reps, always trying to improve!

Love the analytics and the data your collecting. You can literally see your own weaknesses and can go right to them to start to improve them. Next level stuff.

This level of "intent" expalins a lot in reagrds to how fast you have climbed the leader boards. Very professional! I will say the sped up sequences with the camera following the shots is a bit tough to watch - Dramamine! (nit picky!) All in all another great video.

  • Exactly what I wanted to watch. Gave me some ideas to add into my field work days! Thank you for this video!
