The fact that this is 7 years old and he just won his 6th really kinda screams goat

How can you not root for this guy? So motivated, so driven, so inspirational, so great.

What a truly inspirational documentary. I liked Paul before watching this, and I absolutely love the guy now. His view on the fans and being a role model are something everyone can learn from. He's a great disc golfer, but an even better person.

Excellent documentary, wish it included the USDGC at Winthrop this past season when Paul completed the first ever Grand Slam! I followed Paul everyday during that week, talk about a focused and composed athlete. It was a great week, even though it rained so much. At 54 I just started playing about two years ago and watching this young man was inspiring. He along with the other competitors on the card make it look easy. I look forward to seeing Paul again at Winthrop in 2016. Hopefully he'll repeat the Grand Slam!

The phrasing in that quote is so thought provoking. "I hate losing. I have a bigger hate for losing, than a passion for winning." I think it lends itself better to a sport like disc golf. When you have that desperation to win its like you're grasping for it. And we all know how those days on the course feel. But for some reason harboring hate for losing seems to inspire a sense of calm execution. It's a desire versus a refusal. That sense of rebellion against loss appeals to me. It almost creates the aura of an antihero.

I took my 8 year old son to the 2017 Nick Hyde Memorial. All he wanted was to see Paul play and get his disc signed. Paul couldnt have been nicer. Made a little boy's year. Great guy.

The thing that I love about this Documentary is that it has interviewing (maybe a little too much but still great lol) and I like that it also has the hotel room and just normal interactions before a round and stuff like that and when he's in the bathroom just talking and stretching. Overall amazing!!!
  • Mr. Mcbeth, and I say that out of respect, has revealed a one of a kind view of not only himself as a champion but also of the entire sport of disc golf. I'm newer to the sport (started a year ago) and this half hour doc revealed a lot of parts to the game that no one talks frankly about such as the backache and pulled muscles that pros not only get but play through as well. I also though it was so humanizing to see someone that so many people look up to claim to have problems socially and yet still put forth an effort to tell people that it's alright to approach him and talk as equals. I don't have a Facebook page, I'm not someone people know, and im sure im not someone people talk about, but after watching this video I feel like people have a great role model to show them the future of humanity in the modest form of Mr. Paul Mcbeth. Thank you, sir, and if I ever have the dubious pleasure of meeting you, I would be an honor to shake your hand. C.J.R.D.

A great ambassador for disc golf, and a great inspiration to be your best. Thanks Paul!

It's time for a newer edition of this! Still Greatness!
  • Great job. Thank you for doing this. There is not another athlete with all the attributes that Paul has in any sport. I'm glad he's around to represent the sport in such a remarkable manner.
  • Thank you SpinTV for presenting and Epic DG Films for creating this inspiring documentary about Paul McBeth!!!
