I lost it when the villain brought his own violin players to provide dramatic backing music for his betrayal.
  • These farmers have energy weapons and anti-tank rocket launchers and spaceships, but they haven’t got a single combine harvester to harvest all that grain?
  • 2:29 - Showing footage of "Return of the Jedi" while narrating the plot of Rebel Moon was a stroke of genius... the "inspiration" and/or lack of actual creativity could not be more obvious...

I kept telling my wife, "I don't care about any of these people."

Reminder that Netflix cancelled Mindhunter because of budget issues and green lit these flaming piles of turd for 160 million.

"I don’t like grain. It’s coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere."
  • I tried to watch the movie yesterday. I kept pressing the 10-second forward button, like 100 times. Then, I went to YouTube and in the search bar typed 'Rebel Moon 2 boring.' I found your video and now I'm waiting for Rebel Moon 3 so I can watch your video again.

The mention of Zack Snyder's name is enough for me to lose control of my bowels.
  • As a farmer i couldn't get past the notion that in the first movie they are basically diverting the equivalent of a carrier group, to threaten a village that by the looks of it produces at most 10 tons of grain to sustain themselves. That is like the US navy sending a carrier group to the other side of the world to extort $2000 worth of grain...

"Somehow, Evil Lloyd returned." I guess Zack Snyder really DID make a Star Wars fan fiction.
  • -What's your story? -My father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate was killed by the emperor! -Oh the pain, the pain! (Remember....it's a 6 movie Trilogy!

It really says a LOT when even Kathleen Kennedy thought this script was garbage & turned it down. What was Netflix thinking?
  • it would be cheaper to buy the grain at premium prices than pay for an invasion

Honestly, I saw that part where they all started telling their back stories and immediately thought "drinker is going to tear this exposition to shreds"
  • @Viewable11
Drinker, when you said "GO AWAY NOW," I felt that. I have never heard you so pissed. This movie must be a crime against art.

Zack Snyder just looks like the kind of person who surrounds himself with people that never tell him "no".

My favorite part was when they're all sitting around debating tactics, and out of nowhere Digimon Hounsou is like, "LET'S ALL GO AROUND THE TABLE AND REVEAL OUR TRAGIC BACKSTORIES, I'LL GO FIRST." And then we get a bunch of slow-motion vignettes that somehow made me care about each character even less.

Zack please, stop using your dnd sessions as movie ideas.

After watching Part one, my wife and I decided to watch part 2 ironically. So much fun! We became Mystery Science Theater 3000!
