    Really appreciate while watching this later (after work today) the way you’re reading the comments and responding and discussing topics. Much easier to follow. Beautiful background and scenery, your creek is very peaceful and the Rooster cameo was great to see! Curious if he has a name? All my boys get names, I always say I don’t manage my hens, just the roosters, and they take care of their girls for me.

    Hopefully last comment for this video 😂. I'm surprised that you haven't build a Cold room/shed to hang your meat in thru the winter. That would allow the meat to age without drying out from the sun also. As far drying the mest in the winter, the Indians used to dry meat in the winter also in there Teepees by running cordage or saplings high up as heat and smoke rise naturally Sir.

    The Beef industry pushes the Angus beef because they contribute the most money to the industry . And as far as the Old cows they go to auction to be bought by the locker plants and get turned into Hamburger. As far as your local butcher's requiring the younger cattle for butchering is because they didn't set up there facilities for larger size animals because of the cost of both the building and equipment . Also the smaller sides and qaurters are easier to handle and process.

    Bear, cougars, coyotes, and wolves are real hard on that Cattle herds especially during calfing season. Let the Cougars get back into the cities along with the coyotes cause of over population and see how long the City folk want to keep them from getting hubted or trapped. The reason wolves are so hard to hunt and trap is because they cover such a huge area of roughly 250 miles most of the time in search of food. Favorite Western movie for me is War wagon, El Dorado and The Cowboys all with John Wayne.
