    I read Thoreau to put me in the zone. Just a couple of paragraphs is enough to inhabit his era. Adding to one of your points regarding medical treatments. We treat the symptom rather than the cause. This society seems evil when you see the endless shelves of junk food. And in case you missed it, there is more at the checkout. Who knows how many people are sleeping through life thinking that the citylife is a blast. It is only when you turn off the music, get off the sugar high and step out of your car that hell becomes apparent.
