Just because we crap indoors and have a color tv in the kitchen does not mean we are a civilized culture.

If there is a farm and ranch store near you go and buy a can of pine tar and a jug of denatured alcohol and mix in equal parts and on a sunny day let your outdoor tools with wooden handles get nice and warm the warmer the better and give a coat of the mixture to all of the wood. Best natural preservative there is.

As someone (me) trying to make monetization happen, this was very interesting to hear. I think your idea of personal branding some products is a good one! Good luck and looking forward to your next upload.

Missed most of the live as morning animal chores are still overlapping it and between goat issues and rain, I was running late. For cookstoves, the Bakers Choice would probably be a reasonable size and it works really well for both stovetop cooking and the oven. Pioneer Princess is a dream to cook on, but would probably be far too large, and I actually prefer the Bakers Choice, it seems to hold the heat more stable and evenly. Older/vintage stoves can be hit or miss, depends on the stove and how it’s been maintained. Good to test the tarp at home in rain rather than find out the hard way when you’re camping. Ever think about trying a hot-tent winter camp? I keep thinking about adding a stove jack to a tarp, but need to fiddle with the layouts more before I seriously consider taking that sewing project on (and replace my tent stove, because I gave it to some people who needed it more than me this winter, but I like always having redundancies for basic needs after living remotely, sort of like the axe handle situation… if you have a spare you don’t have to make a town run.

You might try a lite coat of linseed oil on your tarp.

i love the current civilization that brought about youtube and social media. I hate how some abuse others on it.

And linseed oil. sorry I for got that ingredient and use the alcohol to thin it down just to make it easy to apply. Ok I'll stop bothering you now.🤓
