OH GOSH, I hate hearing about relapses. I had optic neuritis many times and it was NEVER FUN. Hang in there and I hope you get that inflammation down soon!

I have not been diagnosed, but facing a lot of symptoms of MS. In retrospect, I have been having it for a loong time. These videos have helped understand these symptoms and I'm feeling really scared :(

Sadly my very first relapse was ON that left me blind permanently in my left eye :/ was and is entirely black... seems I am in the lucky 1-5% of individuals who don't recover from ON... Hope you are doing well and wish you all the best :)

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I know they say that people who experience the crap gap tend to get their previous symptoms back. Is this something you’ve experienced with your previous ON? It might just be an exacerbation of previous symptoms rather that new 🤞🏻

Dear Lii, sorry you are going through this. I was diagnosed with scleraitis. I was having pain in my eye and it got red and inflamed. I am on steroids, but when I stop using them, the symptoms come back. I am afraid I’ll get glaucoma from so many steroids. I fear my symptoms will come back when I am weaned from steroids. I pray God will give us strength to deal with these difficult times. God bless you❤
  • I hope you are okay. The vertigo was my most severe symptom and it sonetimes comes back, especially Ehen exercising. But only in episodes. MS is Just soooo strange. Sending you love from Germany (Franziska, 49)

Dear Lii So sorry your feeling so bad! Do you know of Utthof Phenomena? Its when you get warm MS Symptoms flair up. Especially bad eye sight weakness and Fatigue. I suffer badly from it. Am in Perimenopause and heatflashes are part of every day life. My doctor told me if a symptom doesn’t stay longer than 24hours its not a relapse. But of course you should contact your neurologist. But try it out and cool yourself down with a cool shower, fan aso. If the symptoms subside, its Uthoffs. Get better soon!

I can’t imagine how scary that was. Thankfully you got some sight back. I feel like the doctors should be able to just call you in some steroids to take ?
