I was excited about going to this concert, but none of my friends were interested, so I went by myself and had a fantastic time. After the concert, I decided it was time to find some better friends.
  • A reporter once asked Eric Clapton what it was like to be the best guitarist in the world and he said you best ask David Gilmore.

nobody talks about the speakers: 2 towers next to the stage, 1 towers on each side, and 2 towers in your back. WE were INSIDE the music 🥰 i am 56 and i have seen them live 7 times....nothing beats PF.
  • My husband was offered $900 for his ticket to The Wall concert at Nassau Colosseum in 1980 and turned it down. I always thought he was crazy until I saw the Pulse tour video.

saying it sounds like a fevered dream was such a perfect description
  • @user-nc8mg7fq6i
the stunned silence at the end of that facemelting solo 🤣
  • What is in the water in England the past 60+ years? First you have the Beatles, then The Who, then Pink Floyd, then the greatest band to ever grace Planet Earth, Led Zeppelin, and now you have one of the top vocalists ever in Lucy Thomas?!! What gives?!!
  • I was at one of these concerts, and I can guarantee that it was an experience like no other

I like how you guys replayed the short solo, not even realizing what was yet to come.
  • The big disco ball is highly symbolic. First of all, it wasn't seen until the lights spotted it. It was simply not there. It was hidden in a box in the ceilling. So when it got lit, you can understand why the audience went wild. When it opens up and show the shining diamond that's inside, a direct reference to Shine On Your Crazy Diamond (which refer to Syd Barrett), the fans understands!

Guys…..you just witnessed, in my opinion, the greatest live guitar solo of all time. There are many many great solos out there, jazz, blues, rock, etc…..but that hits your soul. The emotion and musical magic of that solo, has no equal. YOU MUST DO MORE FROM THIS ALBUM. Try Sorrow next.👍😍🇨🇦
  • I was in the hospital and was having a heart attack. The Rapid Response team tried glycercine spray and just about had the paddles ready when they gave me a doze of morphine intraveonously. and that cease the cardiac issue and knocked and knocked me out. Apparently as I was waking up, I was singing "Comfortably Numb".

I can't imagine what it's like to put that many people into a trance and blow their minds like that

Not just simply a British band, but the greatest Rock band in all of existence. My absolute #1 favorite. I saw Pink Floyd in the Summer of 1994 on the Division Bell tour (from which the Pulse album the following year was made) at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford NJ. Hands-down the greatest concert I've ever been to. Up till then, Pink Floyd had always been one of my 5 favorite bands of all-time but that concert proved that they were the absolute best and always will be. They became my #1 favorite band of all-time and are still that now, nearly 30 full years since that amazing show. I ❤ Pink Floyd.

Got to see them twice… once in England and once here in Montreal,Canada and both times they blew us away.

I once played this song to a girlfriend that I had. And after listening to it, she turned to me and said, "You actually like that song?" That is when I slowed down the car. Came to a stop. Opened my door. Walked over to her side. Kindly opened her door. And kindly said, "Peace Out Girl!"

Hi! I would like to share my personal experience with you. I was present on that particular day, even though I was quite young. After the concert, we strolled in silence, reflecting on the phenomenal performance, looking at the stage sometimes, just to remember this moment forever before we left for good. I also recall the scent of joints, particularly near the stage (yes, it was prohibited, but… it’s Pink Floyd, isn’t it? Some fans couldn’t help themselves!). Now, whenever I listen to this guitar solo, I’m reminded of how the sound enveloped us: it was awe-inspiring, immense, massive, imposing, powerful, yet impeccably clear! It was incredibly striking and overwhelming. It felt as if the grand, gigantic, potent, and majestic Pink Floyd machine was directly linked to our souls! And I can assure you, we were all resonating. Most of the time, during a concert, people are engaged in conversations, laughter, and enjoying themselves; but during this concert, everyone was utterly captivated. There were no disruptive or bothersome individuals. Everyone was simply "in sync". It was as if we were in an alternate universe where everything was utterly distinct. It was an extraordinary, surreal, and unique experience, almost "magical", so to speak. And the crowd was massive, with around 16,300 attendees. I’ve held onto the tickets, by the way, hehe — And to this day, I take pride in declaring, "I WAS THERE, WITH PINK FLOYD THAT DAY!"
