The reason your Floyd reaction video got so many views is because they're one of the greatest bands ever and they have a lot of fans who know just how deep the Pink Floyd rabbit hole is and we love watching people fall into the rabbit hole for the first time. You've got a lot of eargasm ahead of you mate; these guys are legends.

No matter how many times I hear this version of the guitar solo, I am emotionally touched, every time.
  • @Bubbaj5683
You don't just listen, watch, or feel Pink Floyd, you experience Pink Floyd.
  • @rff2552
Greatest guitar solo ever. David Gilmour doesn't play the guitar, he makes it sing directly to your soul. It is called the Gilmour effect!!!
  • @thumpermcfar
There's a reason it's called the greatest rock guitar solo ever!!!

The light show looks futuristic by today’s standards; yet, this concert happened almost 30 years ago in 1994. This is just another example of Pink Floyd being ahead of their time.

As an old fart (70) it does my heart good to see youngun's such yourself discovering and appreciating the music that our generation was raised on. I know that our older generation is always going on about how the music and bands of our time were so much better than what is being offered today - but I think it is performances like this that lend credibility to that claim. And good job not interrupting what is universally revered as one of the greatest guitar solos ever recorded! Next stop - "Sorrow" from the same P.U.L.S.E. concert. Hell - why not just watch the whole thing?! One of the greatest things you may ever see in your life!
  • HE is the guitar the guitar is HIM. 1000s of times but it gets me everytime Love peace n HUGE RESPECT xxxx

I can see from your reaction dude that you get it! It’s great to see younger people discovering what my generation holds so dear. Great reaction!!

I saw Pink Floyd live on The Division Bell Tour in Dallas at Texas Stadium in the Spring of 1994. During Comfortably Numb, a light rain had started. The laser lights were shining through the mist. It was so surreal. It was like the stadium was floating. It felt like a dream.

From the same Pulse Concert, check out SORROW and RUN LIKE HELL. These guys were literally masters of live performances, not to mention seriously talented musicians.

I’m 62 this year and when I was in high school, I use to ride in an old Chevy van and blast Pink Floyd on the 8 track……..FANTASTIC! Still listening to this in my 4-runner, WAY TOO LOUD😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️

David Gilmour is an international treasure, one of the all time Greats! Every Pink Floyd song is an experience, especially live.
  • The drummer, NIck Mason, keyboardist Rick Wright (RIP) and guitarist David Gilmour are Pink Floyd. The first two go back to the beginning with Roger Waters (bass) and the late Syd Barret. Gilmour was brought in to cover guitar when Barret did a bit too much LSD even to the point of losing his mind and leaving the band. Later Waters left and the three continued on with guest musicians as you see here to give the full experience of their music live. The girls have been with them for quite some time. Durga, Sam and Claudia. You need to continue your journey into PF. It is a journey and one you will enjoy. Remember, a lot of their albums were conceptual and should be listened to in their entirety beginning to end. It warms this old rocker's soul to see young people enjoying our music. It was, after all, the best.
  • @thehonestman26
Yeah, this is considered to be one of the best rock guitar solos ever.

So this concert was part of a world tour playing to over 6 million people over 60 cities. They had 3 stage-sets of equipment in 53 articulated lorries weighing over 700 tons, one was in use at the current location, one was being setup at the next location and the other travelling to the location after that. Initial investment cost $4 million plus $25 million running costs, 161 crew, gross profit over $250 million. That's how you do a real tour! I am unbelievably pleased that I managed to get tickets to the night-after this recording, utterly amazing.
  • My stomach flipped n im sobbing . Thank You Pink Floyd Love Peace n HUGE RESPECT xxx
  • Congratulations, you just listened/watched what many people consider one of the best guitar solos ever played 😊. Please check out the songs Sorrow, High Hopes, Keep Talking and Run Like Hell on the same Pulse live concert. So many great songs by PF . You will not be disappointed, guaranteed! You are going to get addicted to PF !! 😊.

The studio version was released in 1979. This concert was in London in 1994.
