  • That explosion in 4th minute was a bosco destroying himself after another player joined. It always happens
  • Now I wish deep rock keeps going for like 20 years and becomes one of the biggest titles with ever expanding content that takes us deeper to the core and closer to the surface
  • I reeeally hope they expand on the “lore” of the game. There is so much untapped potential.
  • Theory: The stars are actually glowing crystals, and the void is just a big distance from the walls of an even larger cave, that cave is just a small caves in a giant ravine on the surface of Hoxxes
  • Wouldn't it be funny if Karl was lost this whole time and it turns out that he was on the surface, and DRG simply didn't think that's where he would be?
  • Amazing. I'm going to send this to my dad who also plays. He's always wondered what's up there. You did the research so we didn't have to. We salute you! Rock and Stone!
  • @Razumen
Hope they add surface missions someday, dig down for the objective, then have to race back up for extraction. Maybe something that requires all deserves to activate/escort.
  • ive tried to reach the surface, and its fully possible on a point extraction or oil refining mission by riding the rocket and then grappling up its easier if you have hoverclock and fast reload on your grappling hook, as well as the grog that helps you mine stone, but in my experience ive found nothing up there
  • The void is more reachable in salvage operation missions because there’s a much bigger hole above the drop pod at the end. Best way to reach it and have some fun is to do it in the Azure Weald, grab a cave angel and fly carefully in circles to the top and you’ll be able to fly around the map.
  • @joltganda
Technically speaking, each hazard level takes you deeper into Hoxxes. I believe you can fact-check this by looking at the depth meter inside the drop pod at the start. So if Haz 1 is the highest, that means the tutorial is pretty close to the surface. Realistically that’s as much as we’ll ever see.
  • Ngl, this is a genuinly good video, the editing is very neat, and I'm impressed that you took on that task, and completed it.
  • fun fact, the hole created by the abandoned droppod on salvage opperation does not have a roof. It's a hole straight through too the surface. With special powder the process of reaching the "starry void" is trivialized.
  • damn, this went from ROCK AND STONE to basically bedrock
  • @LutherLee
So that means all that "bedrock" is generated as you dig... Does it also mean you can "generate" rock if you try to dig from the outside of the map to the inside?
  • You are a good Dwarf! The kind of player you hope to run into. May you never run out of Nitra! Rock&Stone 👍
  • I hopped up there as Scout on low gravity before the roof was added. Zip anywhere in the map in a few seconds but don't miss the landing grapple! Also that really hard granite material is around the entire play area. Dig far in any direction and you'll run into it. When I first found it, mining it would break off oddly square chunks.
