I saw a guy take the shrinking beer, turned off the gravity, jumped up to the top left of the big window, jammed himself into the corner somehow and when he grew back to normal he phased out onto the platform and ran around as long as he wanted in space. He literally went all the way up to the big dish/array thats out there on the left. It was the most beautiful thing I had seen in this game

It's a shame that there is no steam achievement for beating the mission being drunk over 90% or something

I was playing some board games at my local board game shop. The people behind me were playing Caverna (farming game with dwarfs), and someone said "Rocks and stones." And like a hypnotic trigger, I raised my head, and asked "DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE?" I was pleasantly surprised when the guy across from me replied, "Rock and Stone to the bone!" I'd like a canteen to carry a crafted drink with me to a mission (for better or for worse), like flintlock's delight or underhill deluxe in a cave would be awesome

One important thing to note, if you even need to sober up for a mission cause everyone was relaxing between missions, a true dwarf always orders a round of blackouts and lets their mates get them up after passing out.

I always thought the effects of tunnel rat and rocky mountain were backwards, cause when I think "tunnel rat" I think of mining speed, and when I think of "rocky mountain" I tend to think of cliffs and falling or something

Fun fact: Slayer Stout is most likely a reference to Warhammer Fantasy’s dwarf slayers. When a dwarf does something particularly shameful, they’ll take the slayer oath to die a glorious death as repentance. They dye their hair a bright orange/red, wear no armor, and usually charge straight into a tide of foes with either two one-handed axes or a giant two-handed axe or hammer.

I can definitively say that drinking Leaf Lover's is actually cursed. A random bought a round for the entire team, and for the at least next 24 hours, there was an unhealthy amount of wardens that spawned, no matter the haz i was playing on. I blame the Leaf Lover's for spawning these extra bugs.

I remember there was a bug a few months ago where if you switch dwarves while under the effect of beers, their effect will not expire. So some people were eternally large or small, and I have a screenshot of 4 dwarves all of different size - normal, fully shrunk, fully grown, and one that stopped growing prematurely

Always loved the lines the Dwarves would give when they order specific drinks. Like how apparently the Tunnel Rat is actually brewed with an actual rat, or how Blackout Stout has them sometimes day "May as well skip straight to the hangover!". It's nice to have this funny little mechanic add so much character to the rig and Dwarves, and I really do hope Lloyd expands his menu someday soon. (Lloyd is the best mysterious bartender character.)

My friends and I have adopted a tradition of spamming the 'cheers' until one dwarf says the last to finish is a pointy eared leaf lover line. then we point and laugh at and throw our mugs at the last one to finish. Typically its the one who said the line, but sometimes you miss it.

Drink a craft beer just before promoting a dwarf in the memorial hall to have doofy stuff happen in the background while mission control is giving you his speech. My favourite is Blackreach Blonde, which plays the funky dance music over his speech.

Daily beer idea: Lloyd's Homebrew Moonshine -Gives you a randomized daily beer effect. I think it would be interesting to have teammates with different beer effects

I distinctly remember when I first played this game with my friend, he walked me over to the bar to show me Loyid and I remember him saying, "Prepare to spend all your life savings on this guy." Good times.

The first voice line I ever got from smart stout was (paraphrasing): I’m beginning to suspect that we’re being mistreated and need to band together as dwarves. Which considering the conduct of the company hit me way to hard 🤣
