Harley-Davidson Test Ride and Review: 2021 Heritage vs. 2021 Sport Glide

Published 2021-08-02
Justin and Connor are back at it with another Harley-Davidson Test Ride and Review. Check out what they have to say about the 2021 Heritage and the 2021 Sport Glide!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
More on the 2021 Harley-Davidson Heritage
The quintessential American cruiser. Showstopping vintage details and pure rock and roll style.
MILWAUKEE-EIGHT® BIG TWIN ENGINE
A powerful, cool-running engine with crisp throttle response and a pure, soul-satisfying rumble.
SOFTAIL® FRAME
The frame retains the classic Softail® lines, but its lightweight design and stiffness translate to a responsive ride unlike anything you’ve felt before.
A DARK CLASSIC WITH MODERN EDGE
Dripping with gangster-era style and vintage details. If Bonnie and Clyde rode a Harley® motorcycle, this would be the one.
SIGNATURE LED FORWARD LIGHTING
Darkness-defying lighting that gives you great visibility at night.
LOCKABLE AND SEALED SADDLEBAGS
A sleek look on the outside and roomy on the inside with enough space to stash your riding essentials. The lids open with one touch.
DETACHABLE WINDSCREEN
Go from touring to cruising in a heartbeat. Leave the screen on for a clean envelope of air over the long haul. Or remove it in seconds for a completely new look and ride.
HIGH PERFORMANCE REAR MONO SHOCK
Easily adjustable mono-shock rear suspension allows for dynamic cornering capability while preserving the hardtail look.

More on the 2021 Harley-Davidson Sport Glide:
An aggressive combination of cruising agility and long-distance touring.
MILWAUKEE-EIGHT® 107 ENGINE
Enough power and torque to go almost anywhere quickly. Rigid mounting and internal counterbalancing allows for a smooth ride without giving up the Harley feel that riders know and love.
SOFTAIL® FRAME
The frame retains the classic Softail® lines, but its lightweight design and stiffness translate to a responsive ride unlike anything you’ve felt before.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION
Inverted front forks and a rear mono-shock with external preload adjustment give you the ability to customize your handling profile for any situation, including extra cargo and/or passengers.
FRONT MINI-FAIRING
The quick detach front mini-fairing allows for an attitude change on the fly. Put it on for more comfort on a long ride, or remove it for the stripped-down cruiser style. It’ll take the wind off the rider’s chest while allowing the air in your face.
BLACKED OUT CUSTOM LOOK
A blacked-out Milwaukee-Eight® engine, aggressive black machine highlighted “Mantis” cast aluminum wheels, and black mufflers give the Sport Glide® a stealthy style.
MODERN TECHNOLOGIES
You get lots of modern features, including a LED forward-lighting system, USB port and a keyless ignition.

  • I took off the Sport Glide mini fairing and couldn't even feel the difference!

    1. The Heritage has a longer-travel rear shock and you feel the smoother ride. 2. HD sells the same bags without the studs and with the quick-release like on the Sport Glide (2020 Deluxe accessory). 3.HD sells the saddle, passenger seat, and tank bib from the 2020 Deluxe. You can sell your Heritage stuff and break even.

I personally hated the old studs. Always thought it looked a bit gay with the indian and cowboys look. Love the new heritage. But 107 to 107 im going for the sport glide. And 5.000€ diffrence does not justify it for me. But good video. 2 best bikes in the softail lineup for me personally. I'd add a mini ape to the sport glide. Some floorboards. And look into a quick detach aftermarket batwing. Switch them up from time to time.
  • @lawdayl
It was the bags that sold it for me, love the look.
  • @okibot
Nice video! I just ordered a heritage with the 114 Milwaukee 8 but also with the chrome finish. I love the classic look
  • @gunner9010
I don't think I've ever talked to someone that liked those newer black studs on the bags/seat. Buffalo nickels! I might just buy a Slim and add full fenders and bags.
  • @lapinobel
Thinking of trading in my Low Rider S (2021) for a Heritage. Need something that's more comfortable. Good choice?
  • @romeyrome3219
The main frames on these bikes are both the same platform, correct
  • @yvescorbin
Very interested in your video but I stopped watching at 3:52. Can’t hear what you guys are saying, music too loud!
  • @MrBigbike55
I prefer the Heritage, she is the best looking Harley-ever
  • @buyaqub
Couldn’t stand watching after 3 minutes, ANNOYING LOUD MUSIC !
  • @whelennut
Try getting a gallon of milk or a case of beer in those baby bags.
