The "Softail Baggers" Shootout. Get a detailed comparison of Harley-Davidson's touring-minded motorcycles outside of the touring chassis. The Sport Glide delivers more of a modern "Sporty" appeal while the Heritage resembles more of a nostalgic style cruiser that favors the open road. Which of these are best suited for your riding needs? Should you choose one of these "bagged softails" over a touring chassis bike like a Road King or a Street Glide? These questions and topics answered in this video.

I've been in love with the Sport Glide since it debuted. Really like that they're available with painted bags now. I take exception that a bike isn't as good just because it doesn't have the same cookie cutter Dynabro FXR fairing as every other bike on the road. It doesn't need to go on everything with two wheels.

Really like it when you do these. Not all sales people go into these differences like you do. Thank you

Matt, your composure is impressive. Nick is both very informative and hilarious. How you keep from laughing or even smiling at times is beyond me. Keep up the good work, this is my go to channel for factual HD info

I really like sport glide look without bags and faring. A different bike completely. Nice.
  • Great job guy's, I love these comparison videos and the fact you two are honest about the bikes shortcomings. The Heritage is the biggest unsung hero bike and has slowly grown on me as I get older. I feel like it's never in the spotlight at any new release party and never at the bottom of any conversation, just even keel but shows up every year and never disappoints. That FXRT or Sport Glide Touring was slick, a little too loud for my taste but still gorgeous.
  • Love your videos Matt. You do such a good job contrasting the differences in models. Thanks!

Matt, I keep watching your vids for a while now. Thank you for helping me decide which bike to get. And I'm now a proud owner of a 2021 fatboy blackjack paint since yesterday. Keep doing you man. God bless!

Love my Sport Glide, chose it for the versatility and customisation options - you can really build it out to your own own style, whatever that might be. Heritage is my my favourite stock HD though - a set of mufflers is all it needs.

This was a really nice in depth review.. thanks both Matt and Nick for your views.

I'm absolutely enthralled by the versatility of the sport glide. Yeah, it's not the best wind protection, but if you do a little light touring and mostly bopping around town you can't beat it.

Thanks Matt /Nick for a great review. Glad to see you again... I was getting withdrawal symptoms 🙂 Ride safe from Sydney Australia 🤘🤘🤘

Love the videos. Very informative videos on such fantastic products. I grew up on Harleys and I have always been a big fan of the Heritage Softails and Road Kings. Unfortunately, my father just recently had his houise burn down and lost a '75 FLH 1200. Thank you for all the information.
  • @RevJay_Rides
It looks almost exactly like the Low Rider with the bags and the fairing off. I actually like that look.
  • Thanks for the video guys! Definitely a good comparison between the 2 which I've been looking at for a while . Also enjoy the review on the heritage lol
  • @rokkermusic
I really wish that H-D comes out with a “Special” version of the Sport Glide with a 114 engine and a larger fairing, like they do for their baggers. Would make the Sporty a perfect modern cruiser!
  • Love my 2018 Sport Glide. I'm partial to pegs and the rear pegs just happen to be placed perfectly for changing leg positions.
  • @meltugade1
Great review guys!! I’m in the market for the sport glide, so looking forward to test riding one soon.
  • @surfrby8876
