We just made this today as we saw the video had almost all the ingredients, it was incredible!
  • @gina1195
I loved the "used to get made fun of for my house smelling like curry....You guys wish your houses smelled like curry " comment! Made my day!
  • @snlarini99
Finally somebody mentioned warming up the stainless steel pan dry! When I first started using stainless steel THIS WAS THE TIP that kept me persevering because caramelisation = flavour
  • WINNER!!! This is just dynamite. Even though I’ve made it now 5 times in the past month, I have to return to comment how divine this is. If you’re an experienced cook of Indian cuisine you know how perfect the symmetry of the flavours are here. Once I also added some kasturi methi leaves (dried fenugreek), very nice!

I am a student who isn't allowed to have cooking setup at my place. But not being in a position to cook doesn't deter me from watching these amazing cooking videos just for how satisfying it is.
  • @MrMomo3216
We went whole-food plant-based nearly two years ago, and this is definitely in the top 5 recipes we've made. Truly incredible flavors!
  • I absolutely LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the smell of curry! I worked in homecare for a period and I helped a family that made (they were Pakistani) food from scratch EVERY DAY. All vegan. Roti, dal, you name it. It opened my eyes and my taste buds to a world I never knew existed!!!!!! I have to say it is a cuisine like no other. It goes to your soul!
  • @TheAshimac
I just made this… I cannot explain how TASTY and flavorful this is. Everyone should make this, like weekly!!! 😊
  • @lauraashleynl
Really appreciate you using the first person cam to show us what the food looks like during the process. Helps me to get better at cooking.
  • @tmnprlsaicntr
This was a beautiful experience watching you make that precious curry! Oh yes, I would use an entire heaped teaspoon of coconut sugar. You will never taste the sugar but it just balances out all the flavours and brings them together.
  • @JyheS783
Made this today for me and my parents. Honestly, THE best chickpea curry I've ever eaten !!! 😃😃😃
  • @aidenhall8593
I’m a student with a tiny tiny kitchen so I just wanted to say I really appreciate delicious meals like this that are relatively easy to make in a small kitchen with limited ingredients! And it was also surprisingly fast to make so it fits in my schedule! Thank You!
  • @sandygrow5698
I actually made this recipe last week when I saw it on your blog and it was FANTASTIC!
  • @Dominibiza
I am French but I lived in London for a while and some of my favorite food was Indian. Even the Indian take away were so good ! I love your recipes and you sell them so nicely. I will definitely try most of them, I love spicy food and those are the kind of meals I love, healthy and tasty.
  • @rgjhn1248
I watched the video yesterday and after a long day today I needed something to eat that was comforting, indulgent and still healthy. Voila, it's all of the above! It tastes exactly how it looks in the thumbnail and it's to die for! Thank you so much ❤🤗🙂
  • One of the best curries on YT so far. Made this curry many time adding different greens and every time it is spectacular!!!! Thank you for the recipe!!!!
  • @RedHeadAgent
I made this last night for dinner. I used fresh Swiss chard from the garden. It was DELICIOUS, the mint and cilantro made the finishing touch for taste. This is going on the repeat list. Thank you Nisha!
  • NISHA! I have followed you for a long time and your recipes are a favorite in my house. I just watched your jackfruit curry vid from 3 years ago when you first quit your job to become full time food expert. I am amazed at how joyful you look now versus then! You're very brave to make the career change you did but just judging by the joy in your face now, your bravery is paying off! Thank you for keeping my belly and my heart full!!
  • @1000buffalos
This is amazing. I have cooked various Indian dishes for 40+ years, but this is a blast of flavor and freshness that really shines. Since I have chronic kidney disease, I have to leave the salt pretty much out of the recipe, but it doesn't matter, it is terrific as a low sodium meal, and that's hard to find in restaurants or prepared food. I pressure cooked my own chickpeas, and used cherry tomatoes right out of garden. Wonderful!
  • @angelal1607
Just made this for dinner - alongside basmati rice - and it was absolutely delicious! Creamy, thick, deeply flavorful, easy to make. Lots of leftovers, which I’m looking forward to eating in the next few days. Thank you, Nisha, for another winner!
