    Respect for Ben Affleck increased

I’m sure Ben was stressed with a lot of things. 1) the reception of BvS. 2) his addiction. 3) his divorce. 4) the whole JL situation. All while he really wanted to make the best Batman movie he could possibly make and felt pressure from both the studio and fans. I can see how that’s an extremely stressful situation. I walked out of The Batman still wishing we got Ben’s movie instead. Hopefully he’ll consider it now that he’s in a better place and is coming back for flash’s next Aquaman.
  • Look, I loved Matt Reeve's Batman movie and I thought Robert Pattinson as Batman kills it and did a great job but I would definitely sacrifice their Batman sequel just to see Ben Affleck's Batman movie

I can never get enough of hearing about this story. Batfleck is my favorite iteration of the character and I’ll be forever saddened he never got to do this film.

This Batman film sounds like it could've been something very special, but what Matt Reeves gave us was epic. I think looking back at it, the combination of Ben's personal life (divorce from Jennifer Garner, alcoholism) along with the added pressure from fans, the media, and WB led to him not being passionate anymore about the film and wanting to get away as far as possible. This guy proved he was an amazing filmmaker, and yet WB/DC couldn't just give him the creative liberty they gave Matt Reeves to allow him to make the film as near perfect as possible? It really sounds like something of a gem.
  • To be fair Batfleck Fight scenes is the best batman fight scene ever of all the Batman movie so far..the dude is just the batman we imagine n picture in the comic as how strong n calculated as well as fast n brutal
  • Ben Affleck's Batman was by far the best we've seen, I hope one day we get a stand alone film, I'm still holding out hope.
  • Even after watching the Robert's take on the batman, I still want that Batfleck movie. Idc what people say.

If I had a nickel for every time a Batman Movie was inspired by a David Fincher movie, I’d have two nickels. Which, isn’t a lot, but it’s wired that it happened twice.
  • What could have been: Batman: ,,I don't want to fight you, Slade." Deathstroke: ,,I wouldn't wanna to fight me neither."
  • As much as i loved Pattinson's Version I personally hope ben gets his Batman Film Before it's Too Late I would mind if both Versions Co Exist
  • So sad Affleck wasn't able to put out this movie it sounds incredible. It sounds like a Batman movie that could have been on the same level as the Batman movie that had Heath Ledger playing the Joker.
  • Love that we got The Batman. I love the movie and that is MY Batman. But I would've definitely loved to see a horror movie esque type, seeing Professor Pyg in that concept art would've been awesome to see that looks so creepy
  • Just wanted to say I've really been enjoying these videos. Keep up the great work!

The story has a predator 87 feel to it aswell. Which is a good thing because after being defeated Batman must resort to his surroundings to defeat a more dangerous threat
  • If This film came out i would've really like Ben's version of batman and i hope affleck gets to make his film
  • The part where Batgirl comes in to help Batman defeat Deathstroke seems kind of random to me. So, if this was made (which it won’t be, obviously), I would have hoped they would write a better conclusion than that. Very cool video though! Thank you for the great content. 🙂
  • Another great and very well researched video from the channel! It's disappointing that Ben Affleck's Batman never came to furniture. Seeing an older and more experienced Batman would've been refreshing for sure, so is the arc the film would've taken in him on, and with the addition of Deathstroke a villain we hadn't seen on the big screen before would've been exciting, especially in the way he was portrait here as systematically destroying Bruce's life, I could easily see this as being an iconic and very intimidating performance based on the whispers alone. I also love the inclusion of Batgirl because again, it's a character we haven't seen before. It will always be shame we will never get to experience this, as I believe it would've brought something new to the Batman franchise with the Arkahm/comic book inspirations, the villain, Bruce's arc, etc.
