  • Captions are being made, check back in a few hours! Thank you for your patience, a human is working on them as usual 🌟
  • Hey, Jessica good news from Thailand the Thais are going to recognize all types of marriage. Big move for SE Asian country!🍻🍰
  • “I haven’t been able to do anything, except my work, my parenting, and my being an ill person,“ is the realist thing I’ve heard all day. 🍰
  • @ChrisPage68
GOOD NEWS : Thailand's Parliament's lower house just passed a Bill legalising Equal Marriage. 🤘💜

A friend of mine may or may not have lied about "trying" the meds with the side effects, so the doc would shut up and listen lol 😇

Only Jessica can look this fabulous while struggling with chronic migraines, what a gorgeous dress
  • Haven't watched the video yet but you know what? You're saving my disastrous month. My life is turning upside down and I am so afraid, but this afternoon as I was trying to calm down, I sat down with a video of you and Claudia and it made me smile and feel more at peace. I wanted to thank you for it ❤

I actually really liked how the topic kept changing with all the tangents. I am completely exhausted watching this, and in this state I can't really focus on the same thing for a prolonged period of time, but because it kept changing, I was able to stay focused. (🍰)

Rub candle wax on the drawers. It will help lessen the friction. Also, I have a play list of comedy musical theatre show videos stashed away for metaphorical rainy days. Cheers me up when I'm bedridden sick or when I'm sobbing because of work or finance related stress. Unless even that's too much for me, in which case I wear my most comfortable nice pajamas and try my best to sleep the awfulness away. 🍰
  • My favorite thing is this coming month I am playing as a ensemble member in Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella and I get to dance with the Prince -- while the King says "Look at him! He's MISERABLE!!" while I flutter and make cow eyes at the Prince - and it's MARVELOUS!! (My first play since school days.... my oldest kids are in their 20s!!)

There is totally just something about March that triggers migraines/other inflammatory disorders in so many people… for me I assume it has to do with the changing light and the way the weather can fluctuate rapidly back and forth, meaning constant pressure changes. Allergies probably don’t help, either.

I really feel you with the migraine stuff. My GP won't refer me back to neurology because somehow don't qualify despite having been referred before and being diagnosed with migraine since age 6. Nothing has worked to prevent mine & the only thing that seemed to help a bit gave me toxicity at the lowest dose so I'm stuck too Also if anyone in the UK is reading yes, please don't ever vote for the tories again if you are ill or disabled yourself or have friends & family who are. It's gotten worse and worse to try and get any help & care

No crippling pain, but depression hit me massively this month, impossible to get out of bed, work or do anything….. and I slowly start to realise that my body is telling me that I need to make changes in my life. I hear you and feel for you!!❤❤❤
  • Hello Jessica! I have autism and I’m moving from the public school I’ve been unable to attend for 2 years, to a small independent school with better SEN support! So I’m looking forward to that in September
  • One of the things that brings me joy is knowing I am not the only person to sometimes need 8 hours to get dressed and made up. Yay chronic pain.
  • ICYMI: Did you know they used to put beeswax on the bottom wooden drawers to make them slide? It has to be reapplied periodically. Use a hairdryer on the side of a tealight candle. Rub on the drawer's runners where they slide on the frame, smooth with a rag. Light candle and enjoy~
  • I don’t think anything brought me joy, except that I’ve made it through another birthday month, and that my son has made it through another birthday month. Yes, we share the same birthday.
  • 🍰Things that have brought us joy this month: - our wheelchair (god we couldn't do anything without it) - our professors - our stuffed shark (also works as neck support / a pillow!) - watching the first fifteen minutes of lesson 01 (ASL) on Bill Vicars' channel
  • my angel's kiss birthmark is also between my eyes and also usually shows up when i have a migraine! i'd never heard that term before, though, and didn't realize that it was a pretty common thing. it's sort of annoying but also pretty useful that it functions as a warning to my close friends and family that i'm either in a lot of pain, extremely stressed out, or completely exhausted
