A stray ended up at my house 2 years ago and it took a lot of trial and error to find the right dish for her. We noticed that with bowls she wasn't really eating so we tried a few different shapes and depths and finally landed in a mat that she loves. She also loves her water fountain. She refuses to drink still water. Having her thought us alot.

Raised cats for years. Everyone is focusing on the messengers and not the message. I have cheap paper plates for the wet and raw human foods. Easy to toss in garbage after eating dry food is always out and available in large wide containers.

My cat throws the food on the floor and eats it like that. Then we got a dog from the shelter that flips the bowl. I'll get them a flat plate Thank you💖

My dad’s kitties are very persnickety these days and he found this out through trial and error. He feeds them off of glass plates from the dollar store now and lovingly washes them everyday. He’s such a toughy, but he loves his kitty babies.

whisker fatigue is often overlooked as a cause of cats not eating well. Our three eat their wet food off a paper plate.. and their dry food from a ceramic pie dish, and their water is in several wide fountains... it works for them.. and thats what counts.
