I was about brought to tears when Kate Martin is talking about A'ja. Just so much respect. It goes to show how much some of these more veteran players can build up these young people. When Wilson retires, she's going to reflect back on all the people she's influenced.

So funny how no one is comparing her to the other one...or that there are no comments about how veterans hate rookies or anything about race... It's not that Kate's teammates are better; it's that Kate is better in her attitude about how she contributes to the team. She's worked on building relationships with her team, and it happened quickly because it's not tainted with arrogance. And it's showing! So refreshing to see this debunk all the negative comments.

Aja is very matter of fact saying the rest of the league is probably pretty stoked that the Aces are having a rough patch. Remember, their star point guard is hurt. Chelsea Gray is like a combination of Jrue Holiday and Chris Paul. That's a big piece not to have. I think the blessing in disguise is that the back of the rotation is getting a taste of huge minutes. And it's probably good for them now to be seeing the ways teams can cause them trouble instead of it being in the playoffs. They know they've got a fantastic rotation of Wilson, Gray, Plum, Young, Stokes, Clark, and Martin. That rotation can cause problems for anyone. I think they'll be fine
