We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.

If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.

Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

I used to watch you on public access with my mom when I was a kid. She wrote you and asked about a bamboo cutting board you had. You replied and thanked her for watching. Glad to see all your success, you’re a good dude.

Using a mesh strainer to sift the Baking Powder onto the wings will give a much more even coverage. Also, mint is a good substitute for Cilantro.
  • Great tip on the pesto. Walnuts and cilantro are about 1/3 of the price of pine nuts and basil.
  • Big fan of the channel. The first video I ever watched of yours was the chicken street tacos with the avocado cream sauce a few years ago and have been a huge fan since. I'm wondering if you guys could time stamp your videos? Especially on the videos in which you are making "three whatevers three ways". Is it the biggest deal for me to search through the video to find exactly what I'm looking for? Of Course not, but I just had the idea and figured I'd suggest it.

Thanks for all the advice over the years. I've learned a ton from your guys' channel and I appreciate your work and humor.

  • We are always looking forward to Mondays Wednesdays, Fridays yall are awesome. You have totally elevated our cooking we are quick to tell our friends about yalls great show!
  • I just had to drop a note to say how much I appreciate your videos. In my family, I was the one known as the "non-cooker" or "bad cook." However, since I had my son, Max, I wanted to hone my cooking skills so he could have a nice home cooked meal most days. Let me tell you that I have cooked several of your recipes, and they are all delicious. However, this one made me feel like a shining star cook. It turned out amazing, and I can now proclaim that i am indeed a good cook!
  • Have been using fresh garlic for 3 decades- always eschewed the garlic paste- Sam sold me on it for MANY cooking situations. I now keep two tubes and many heads of garlic at all times
  • great presentation! Looks exquisitely delicious. I am trying them out this weekend with friends!
  • @karabarks1623
Definitely trying these. our kids are obsessed with your channel....we bought your cookbook and so far everything's a hit! I may lie some days and say a (basic meal) recipe is yours just to get them to try it😂

I traded in the hello fresh for hello Sam couldn’t be happier.
  • @mariocruz8668
Your personality is absolutely amazing!! And the food is hands down is my favorite on YouTube. Keep up the good work guys.
  • These look great !!! How about a Lil lime juice in the cilantro pesto???
  • @afklife3090
Long time subscriber, I must say… part I love most about sams recipes is that they are very easy to substitute things. Referring to the cilantro discussion if not liked, can go green onion or anything you want. Most of his recipes are like this and simple to follow or change to make your own 😁
  • Sam, I’m originally from the Midwest and have always possessed “safe”, boring eating and cooking habits - your typical meat and potatoes kind of gal. A chef’s salad with avocado in it was the most exotic addition to my diet. But, thanks to you, I’ve been buying and trying all kinds of spicy and complex seasoning combinations, and the products they’re found in, and for the first time in my life, I’m enjoying cooking and eating again. I know it sounds silly, but even buying a can of Old Bay was outside my norm. I did it to make your Jambalaya recipe, and it was fast, fun and very tasty. I’ve also bought the Asian Mayo, and you’re right, it does taste better. A jar of chili garlic sauce has also been a wonderful addition to my regular rotation of recipes. It’s like I’ve lit a fire under my taste buds, and I’m thoroughly enjoying pumping up the flavor volume on all my regular dishes like meatloaf, burgers, grilled chicken, and your Salisbury steak recipe too. I wish you allowed a small audience to sit in and watch one of your tapings. I’d love to be a fly on the wall, and enjoy the experience up close. Keep up the good work. BTW, I’m looking forward to my birthday this year because I’ve already asked my hubby to buy me your Nakiri knife. I’m betting that the blade is a bit deeper (wider?) than my chef’s knife. I’ve watched you use it, and it seems easier to pick up chopped foods with it.
  • @bulbulrai1787
Absolutely loveeee these recipes.. i am trying these very soon!!
  • @mikesmith2102
Thank you for making a PDF I can download instead having to print the recipes. You guys rock!! I could really use a garlic press.
  • @jtking76
Definitely one of Sam's most inspiring videos, gave me great ideas about using different sauces for the wings. And of course as always super entertaining. The people who hate Sam hate him because they can't take the realness.
  • @light564
Ever since i was a teenager i've always liked cooking. Seeing you perfect perfection not only makes me hungry, it makes me want to jump in the kitchen and start cooking. ty for this wonderful video. i'm going to try this out? theres only one question, where can i find go ju jion? i spelled that wrong -_-
  • @greyman334
WOW! We just finished devouring a pile of wings using this recipe. We used our own sauces though. These were the best that we have ever had at home. No need to try any other recipes because this one is outstanding!
  • @matt07463ify
I cant learn anything from these videos because its just hypnotizing. Max does these videos too well. I just end up drooling, staring and rewinding
