hey :)

this is the story of how I went from living in bali (feeling unstoppable) to going blind in my right eye, moving back to the uk, and getting diagnosed with MS. it was awful. but, a year later my life is beginning to thrive again, so I want to share my story to encourage others that life does get better after a chronic illness diagnosis (i promise!!)

  • I’m so glad I’ve found your YouTube! My 38 yo daughter got diagnosed with MS yesterday! As you know we are all in the shocked phase! It does explain the bizarre health issues of the last ten years! How no one picked it up earlier I don’t know! I’m looking forward to following your story 😊💕
  • So, I was just diagnosed a couple months ago. For a few years now, I have had the symptoms on and off, but never really paid attention to it. They were never really major symptoms, but I went to the hospital when my hands started to go numb for no reason. Again, I felt it would be nothing, they'd give me a prescription and I'd be on my way. Well, long story short, I was diagnosed with MS, and they found evidence of previous flare ups in the MRI. For the first little bit, it was depressing, absolutely, especially coming from a family with a history of neurological issues. But, what helped me was actually taking into account that I have been (unknowingly) dealing with this for several years now. I work at a job that is pretty physically intensive, too, and if I could get through it in the past, I can get through it now. I just simply refuse to let it bring me down!

  • You got this Girl. What I find helps me is Meditation and watch what you eat. Sending you waves of healing vibes ❤
  • You sounds strong and positive through it all, so that's good! Dang those struggles are familiar though we've all got different ways we experience MS. Hang in there!

Your energy is so welcoming, thank you for being a bright light in this community. You’re right, there’s sometimes a dark cloud over diagnosis videos and people sharing their stories. Even in the recent video u posted, I think I was so focused on trying to help someone that looks like me or may be going through something similar that I forgot to address all the positive things you mentioned. Life still goes on and will slight lifestyle changes you can really live a beautiful life. Thank you for that reminder. 🫶🏾 Praying that you’re doing well!
