Bhramcharya is not only about controlling sexual desire. It is about disconnecting yourself from the all bad actions, thoughts . #yogtuber
  • Thank you ma’am. This is the best and the most holistic explanation I have found on the internet on the principle of Brahmacharya. Makes complete sense to me. Thank you for guiding this lost soul. You truly are an embodiment of Yoga.

  • Kino, you're such a great talker, knowledgeable, honest, positive and inspirational, keep doing what you're doing, yoga and world itself would suck without you. Sending you good wishes!

Oooooom. Namaste. Glad to know about brahmcharya. It is most common word in my country.
  • I love that you made this video! I grew up in a strict Baptist family, and the idea of monogamy was a central theme of what I am supposed to be as a person, but it was always so depressing growing up in a culture where it seemed so few people practice sexual restraint anymore. I like that you put it in a positive light, of focusing that energy being devoted to God. Even being in a monogamous relationship, I find myself sometimes wasting energy trying to find more self worth being more sexy to my partner. I still find myself upset if a night doesn't go as hoped for. I like that you bring the perspective back to the divine because when we are living with God at the center, we are less likely to feel disappointed or threatened(insecure) by the people around us. Thank you, Kino!

Thanks for the Nice and simple explanation. In Upanishads, Brahma is the word used as a synonym for Atma, and acharya, means to follow. In short Brahma-charya is to understand, who am I? ( the best verses on this topic is by AdiShankaracharya's verses ( atmashatak ), One of the path to understand self is to follow astangyog. Of which yam- brahmacharya is subset.

Many people say that being celibate and going vegan have given them a lot of energy.. And I'm both - vegan and celibate.. But I'm always tired and sleepy. I feel somehow weak.. Which makes me wonder what's wrong with me.. 🤔😅 But anyway.. This video was incredibly beautiful and inspiring! It really made me feel light and inner purity. Thank you so much! 💝🙏 Sending good vibes from Bulgaria! 🇧🇬🙃
  • Great video. You can be married and be celibate too, like some Yogis who were married and only had sex to have children. I think alot of people are in a relationship or get into one only because they are having sex and are so drawn to that desire, and some years later they lack a deeper relationship or never even got into deeper spheres. And if they never had sex or would refrain from it, they would split in a second haha. I'm generalizing of course...Isn't 'Brahman' more like Holy Ghost? And not 'God' directly?
