Brahmacharya is the fourth Yama and is a mindful approach to the way we distribute our energy. When we control how we expend energy, we don’t exhaust ourselves. Restraint helps us find balance so we don’t spiral out of control and gives a hierarchy of what to do when. In this yoga practice, consider moderations and variations. Give more energy to challenging postures. Sink into the relaxation of poses that require less. Back off poses that you don't have the energy for today.
