2 Plays will lose you the game, let an extra point get blocked, muff a punt to give up a 1 play touchdown. Be forced to overtime knowing you literally gave up an easy 8 points.

The funny part is Romo and Nantz kept talking about how the Chiefs had the better special teams, and it ended up being the difference.

That guy's heel was the MVP of the game...

When i saw that one punt downed at the two i immediately thought "Wonder if Isaac Punts will mention this.."
  • Everytime I see a player trying to pick up the ball instead of jumping on it takes 10 years of my life

Fun fact: the winning touchdown with 3 seconds left in overtime (edit: apparently the rules they were using could have multiple quarters, so it was just the 3 seconds left in the quarter) was the only KC touchdown that was actually the result of a drive the entire night.

Super Bowl record 55 yard field goal. The. Topped by a 57 yarder. Special teams carried and dropped the game.
  • @Ortmeyer41
Couldn't help but think of you throughout the first three quarters, some amazing punts out there

Real MVP was Butker. Moody set a new record for longest field goal in a Super Bowl only to have it broken on the same night by Butker, who had 16 points that game.

Shit defense at the end and lucky block from the pat so ggs im going kms
  • @Truth-is-King
I couldn't agree more. These two plays did in the Niners' Super Bowl
  • @woodog57
I'd argue that even if that PAT didn't get blocked, there's a high probability the Chiefs would have just scored a TD at the end of regulation the same way they scored at the end of OT (instead of kicking a game trying FG) and the outcome would've been the same

The returner only needed to fall on the ball to save that play. Don't try to pick it up so you can run half a yard before getting bulldozed by the coverage team. Instead, he tried to be a hero and is instead a loser

Dude- Greenlaw getting injured was the reason Niners loss. Mahomes would have been kept in check if Greenlaw was in there. Thats the reason they won. That last drive , in overtime ,no Greenlaw . Defense couldn't stop KC . All they needed was a stop. SF had the lead in overtime . All SF needed was a stop , no Greenlaw = Mahomes ran around worry free .... cus Greenlaw would have been on his ASS ! Tell me how lucky KC was to have Greenlaw get injured randomly before halftime ..... Thats something to talk about . This other bullshit is nonsense . missed a PAT , so what , turned it over on a punt , so what - Niners still had that lead in Overtime - all they had to do was get a stop ..... Greenlaw was the true reason they lost... and you know it ...cus KC was getting schooled in the first half .... in my humble opinion.
  • First rule of kick-returns: DON'T TOUCH THE DAMN BALL UNLESS YOU ARE CERTAIN TO POSESS IT!
  • @calebmarek
All that luck they caught against Detroit couldn't possibly keep going.
  • @williewasahippie
This is one of those games where one freak mistake cost one team the game. While there were other turnovers, this one resulted in a TD gift and the difference in the game.

    A 2008 toyota supra doesnt exist 😂

You must have loved this Super Bowl @Isaac Punts. So much special team action to talk about.
  • @brianlin132
Is no one going to talk about how Townsend got absolutely rocked by 50 on the actual punt? How was there no penalty??

Kyle Shanahan is a pro at blowing championships.
