A family was setting up the camera for a group photo when it captured the momment a passenger threw themselves overboard. On another ship the same day a British passenger has also gone missing. NCL has donated to the emergency relief fund in Juneau. Popular cruise director retires.

There's definitely been a troubling increase in these type of incidents. I would hope passenger safety briefings touch on this subject but not sure what can be done otherwise.

It is a very sad moment when someone decides to take their life. 😢 Mental Health is a serious crisis in the world right now and we must be more vigilant to protect our children, friends, and family. The signs may be very small but when they want to talk, make time for them, no matter how busy you think you are. Listen carefully and let them know how your life would be without them. 😢 Let them know how much they are loved 🥰. Love everyone ❤

I was 18 when I went to see Niagara Falls with my boyfriend's family. A girl around my age was running circles around police officers with a grin on her face. I had no clue what was going on. I was standing next to the railing. I turned back to look at the falls, saw something right next to me to my left. It was the girl climbing the rail and jumping off the top right into the falls. It happened in a split second. I'll never forget that. I hope there is a higher fence there now.
