When the show creators said in an interview, "We are trying to make the novel that Tolkien never wrote." They weren’t lying. Tolkien would never write something this stupid.

The most disappointing thing about this version of Galadriel is that she is written to always be right, and in doing so lacks any shred of humility. This Galadriel would not have hesitated to take the ring from Frodo. Why wouldn't she? Everything she does is right and no one knows better than she does.

Rando dude who turns out to be Sauron tells the greatest elven smith in middle earth: "Hey, you know you can mix two metals together?" Wow. Sheer genius. This is like me telling a world class chef about the wonders of mustard and ketchup on a hot dog.

I loved seeing Alex smirk when Joe would start screaming about an aspect of the show. At this point, Alex doesn't have the willpower or desire to complain about the show anymore, but he clearly appreciates that Joes still has the energy to do it.

I don't know why you expected character growth for Galadriel. She started perfect, where do you go from there?
