I still remember my first apartment ever of my own. I was 24, fresh off several years of living with some really annoying roommates. It was just me and my calico cat, and I found a huge studio with a fireplace, huge Victorian windows, and an eat-in kitchen in an old house at the top of a hill. It felt really magical. I was so happy. Tbh, I miss it to this day. Your first place is always so special. It's okay to miss it and remember that time with love. I honestly kinda thought you would leave NYC sooner or later as you never seemed like a big city girl at heart--wonderful though New York is. I am so looking forward to watching you explore Charleston, restart your pod and work on your business ideas, and I can't wait to see your new apartment! p.s. we all love you too, Hannah!

as someone who has moved a TON after turning 18: moving is such a daunting event in your life but is soooooooo poetic/ opportunity for so much growth!! The great thing about the places you've lived in is that they will always be there for you to come back and visit.
