  • Gotta be a great feeling after sandblasting and learning there is ZERO rust. Gives you a solid set of bones to work with. Which makes the whole build turn out 10 times stronger. As a builder,....you hate knowing a car you built has rust and bondo underneath that beautiful paint.

That's great restoration that more of the general public could try to obtain. Some of those others are just off the money chart. The only modification I would have done with that car is a T56 6speed, just love having the low 1st gear and 2 overdrives.
  • A buddy of mine had a legit Yenko Vega. Had a factory equipped (Carl Yenko) built V8. Hurst 4 speed. Original sandstone American wheels. All the Yenko badges were present. It was a beautiful Yellow Vega with white interior. Someone previously took the Yenko stripes off. Not sure if they were painted or stickers but you could see the outline where they were. That car would scare you to death. Amazing amount of torque for a 6. He sold that car 2 years ago for $5,500. πŸ˜† It only had 35,000 original miles.πŸ˜†πŸ˜† He now cries about it everytime I see him.πŸ˜†πŸ˜† I imagine those cars bring a decent amount in the collector market.
