It Snowed on My Cruise - In JULY! (NCL Prima in Geiranger)

Publicado 2024-08-08
Despite being July, it snowed on my recent cruise on the Norwegian Prima in Geiranger. I was on a cruise around Iceland and Norway when we unexpectedly got snow in July! I enjoyed seeing the sights of Geiranger and in this video I will show you all I saw in Geiranger, Norway during a port call there on Norwegian Prima. This was the first time I have ever experienced snow on a cruise, and certainly the first time I've seen snow in July! Norwegian Prima took me to amazing places, and Geiranger was certainly at the top of that list. I loved exploring everything the port of Geiranger had to offer.

This exciting 10-day journey on Norwegian Prima will take me to Iceland, Norway, the Netherlands, and Belgium. I will show you everything from onboard the Prima and tell you my honest thoughts on the ship, the cruise, and the food in my cruise review and food review videos. I will also do a full ship tour and a room tour of my inside cabin on Norwegian Prima.

Norway is one of the most beautiful countries you’ll ever see. We did a 11 day “Legends of the Fjords” cruise in May 2023. Epic cruise and I highly recommend !

If you don't mind, I'd like to mention that both g's in "Geiranger" are pronounced like the g in "good". Although some people say "Geiranyer". Anyway, the ending "anger" is an old Norse word meaning "fjord" or "bay". Or simply "sea". It can be found in lots of Norwegian place names. Stavanger, Hardanger, Leikanger, Varanger, Porsanger etc etc.

Gotta love site cookies. Since the vote the other day about Geiranger I've been inundated with YouTube videos on the subject though I never did a search. 😂 btw.... This video looks great on the big screen.
