This Doctor Overcame Multiple Sclerosis | Dr. Saray Stancic

Published 2021-06-11
In 1995, Dr. Saray Stancic was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Within a matter of years she was already reliant on a cane to walk and doctors told her that eventually she would be confined to a wheelchair. Frustrated by her deteriorating health and lack of options, she began doing research on her own. What she discovered was so much more than she could ever have hoped for.

By changing her diet and reintroducing exercise, her health returned in dramatic fashion. Today, she no longer needs a cane and is walking freely without assistance. She no longer requires medication and is looking forward a future without a wheelchair!

On this episode of The Exam Room™, she joins “The Weight Loss Champion” Chuck Carroll to share what she learned and how it revolutionized her health! Dr. Stancic also reveals how the same diet and lifestyle changes that she made could eliminate up to 80% of all chronic disease cases, including heart disease, diabetes and cancer!

Fantastic!! 👏👏👏 Listening to this takes me back to early 2000 when I was young man, being diagnosed with MS. Long story short, at the time I was eating an ovo-lacto-vegetarian diet ie eating an omnivorous diet; but swapping one animal product for another. Especially eggs, I ate a lot of eggs. I went vegan 5 years later (for the animals, didn’t care or know anything about health), quit the meds and have now been symptom free and vegan for 16 years! I’m turning 42 this year and I’m feeling better now than in my late 20s! As a matter of fact, I don’t take any medication, haven’t even had an aspirin in over a decade! It’s crazy, back then I was picturing myself in a wheelchair, in my early 20’s, thinking my life was over. Now I’m twice that age, jogging, power walking or in-line skating almost every day, and in better shape than many my age. Regarding the neurological doctors I’ve met, and diet, the response I recall is a smile or a chuckle.
  • I seen Code Blue and was totally inspired and encouraged. MS 22 years and vegan almost 4. Changed my life. I have some lingering symptoms but for the most part I live a very normal life when things are in balance. Everything matters not just our diet. Thanks again PCRM and Dr. Saray 🤗💜🌱🐾
  • There's hope for all suffering from autoimmune disorders. An inspiring story 👏👏

She was the first doctor who introduced me to a plant based diet and it has changed my life…in a good way. Dr. Stancic is so inspirational. Such a caring physician 🙏🏽❤️

I had a divine appointment with a stranger at Natural Grocers while looking for grassfed and finished corned beef for St. Paddy's Day. Long story short, he told me about Game Changers and how it changed his life, to which I replied that I was organic/non-gmo/grassfed and finished and raised my own chickens for eggs and have dairy goats. But I said I'd watch it. A week later, I watched it and by morning I was wfpb! And my whole family is now too! 2 of my 4 children were diagnosed with MS, and have been following a modified Swank Diet since 2008. I think wfpb is the tweak we needed! You never know who you might influence even after only a one minute conversation!
  • I too stopped the drugs. Became plant based. Just finished a 7 km walk. I also dropped the label. Thank you for your story.

My neuro advised me to take a dmt but told me diet is EXTREMELY important. Thankful for him.
  • Yes! Yes! Yes! It was her story and Brooke Goldners that opened my eyes to the power of plant based nutrition. It has been life changing and I too am reversing disease! Keep sharing the truth!

I've been plant-based for years but watching with my girlfriend who has severe MS and eats the standard American diet.

My heart goes to this doctor. I got chills all over my body when she went to clinic and her clinic went into silence and then she went to marathon. That’s the creator’s food and treatment. She got healed by the creator. Go vegan. I wonder when the planet start to wake up and see that all degenerated illness are due to the food that they are passing through those lips & diet of revenge of the animals to people by being slaughtered. 🌱💚🌟

Love this! I started dr. Swank diet back in 2005 when Dx with ms. Totally gave me my health back. I now follow Dr. John McDougal (friend of dr. Swank). I no longer eat processed food and eat a plant based no oil meals. Feeling great!

Some people can get immediate tests/diagnosis while others slip through and have to keep pushing to find the problem. Where are we going ? I won’t give up though ❤
  • She’s such an inspiration and so well spoken… Love that Jersey accent! How could anyone ignore her story and continue on with unhealthy habits?! 💕🌱
