Are you avoiding foods that might be causing harm? Are there others that you might add to the list?
  • I was recently diagnosed with MS. I have a young child and want to live well for as long as God gives me life to see her grow. I now know, it begins with what I eat.
  • I am 69 years old and newly diagnosed and frightened! Your videos help me greatly! Thank you!

I adopted a PBWF diet in 2011 when I got diagnosed with MS. Coming from a standard American Trash Panda Diet, I was experiencing a remission in my symptoms for about 3 months, then experienced increasing disability for the next 8 years. It wasn't until I adopted a high-fat carnivore diet in 2021(984 days ago) that I stopped having relapses and my MRI's showed my lesions are shrinking/disappearing

  • WARNING. I cut back salt and then was told by a doctor i had to ADD salt as i had low SODIUM in my blood which can become dangerous. i was sent to a nutritionist, as i am struggling to eat . she told me MIX IT UP. so i try. I added more food with some fats in it. I eat a better diet now and my bloods are excellent with good B compounds, B12 Vitamin D, not anemic have good levels of all the good stuff magnesium etc. for me having MS for 23 years the worse thing for MS is STRESS.

I love how you list your sources. I'm watching this for my sister.thanks
  • Respectfully disagree. A few years after I was diagnosed I started the Ketogenic diet and ate 80% of my diet as fat and saturated fat. All things improved. My blood pressure went down, my HDL skyrocketed to the level that it’s considered protective of heart health. Then I went on holidays and fell off of keto and switched to a mostly vegetable lifestyle and over two years I progressed to being unable to walk. I went back on Keto again recently and as soon as I was back in ketosis everything started improving again. I don’t diets are a one size fits all. Mine works for me.
  • Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have MS and got off all my meds by going Vegan and juicing daily. No meds since 2009. Now I'm an Integrative Health Practitioner. Some of this I didn't know myself. Great video. Glenn

I've learned all I know about MS watching YouTube, because my doctor is terrible. She will not tell me anything or refer me to other specialist for my "secondary MS" symptoms, like incontinence. Thanks for the video.
  • Thank you for the information it has been a long 5 years with MS for me but, I'm learning more and more every day and I'm blessed to live in a world where people share life-saving knowledge thank you. #BostonPalmTreez

Myelin is made of saturated fat. Grouping trans and saturated fats together is misleading .
  • Thank you for this valuable information ❤ God bless you Always 🙏 He will see that you help us and he will help you for sure. 🌟
  • 1) Trans & saturated fats -> they cause vascular inflammation, contribute to heart disease 2) Refined (simple) carbs e.g. white flour, white sugar 3) Dairy Butyrophilin (protein) linked to MS 4) Salt Linked w/ relapses 5) Gluten If you are celiac or gluten intolerant
  • @theevilswan4053
Thank you for this video! I feel like each of us can feel when certain foods are not right for us. For example, I feel my symptoms worsen when I eat gluten or use sunflower oil specifically. Carbonated drinks also make me bloated and give me inflammation almost immediately
  • It may just be splitting hairs, but couldn't yogurt & cheese technically be considered fermented foods (and no longer "dairy") , and thus important & good for a healthy gut microbiome -- which could help to decrease leaky gut. Moving on, our brain is a fatty organ as you point out early on. What types of fats ARE needed to optimize brain & mylein sheath preservation & replacement? A future video perphaps? Thank you for creating this channel. Be well.
