  • Ever since I left the SBC and became a Reformed Baptist one thing has stood out as the main difference between the two and that is expository preaching. What a blessing it has been to sit through the preaching of entire books of the Bible rather than exclusively topical sermons. We really do feed on the meat if the word that way and I couldn't go back. It's sad that many saints are starving for truth and getting TED talks rather than sermons. Looking forward to more content like this on the channel brother. Grace and Peace to you and the church there!

Thank you so much for this video. Im very very new to this pipe community, and will receive my first pipe tomorrow! Its refreshing and encouraging to follow a pipe friend who is also a believer. Thank you also for the break down of your service. I’m probably in the minority of your subscribers but I myself am a part of a AoG/Pentecostal church here in California, and I’m very thankful for this gathering i get to be a part of. I love how many different ways we, across the world, can worship and praise our Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks Wilson! -Diego
  • I'm Eastern Orthodox, but I used to be Reformed Baptist. Though I believe all the dogmas of the Orthodox Church, including our rather exclusive ecclesiology, I commend this liturgical approach and commend the Christianity of it. The dancing stormtrooper clubs aren't churches. Even the soft rock/TEDtalk groups are barely recognizable as Christian religion compared to historic Christianity. This humble liturgy is worthy of the name Christian in my opinion, for whatever my opinion is worth. May God reunite us one day! And many years to you and your flock!
  • Very cool. Appreciate this glimpse into your church and how you pastor. Many blessings!
  • Good Morning Pastor 😊Awesome Video 👌🏽 Thanks for the chat and explanation 🙏🏽 In The Lord we place our Trust 🙏🏽 The Lord is all Knowing & Merciful 🙏🏽 Have a blessed day & God Bless You and Your Family 🙏🏽 Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦

This is a great order of service, well laid out. Just subscribed to your church’s YT and looking forward to adding the sermons to my typical rotation
  • As a Reformed Baptist brother, I really appreciated this video. I love how your church’s order of service is a reflection of the Gospel; that is a great touch that really underscores the Good News, the very reason why we meet.
  • Appreciate the walkthrough of your order of worship, very interesting. I grew up a Nazarene, spent some time as a Wesleyan and am now Lutheran (Missouri Synod). One thing I still miss from my childhood days are responsive readings. God’s peace be with you

Happened across your channel for pipe smoking info, but was pleasantly surprised to see the religious aspect as well. As one who was baptised in the Baptist Church (SBC) and later confirmed in the Anglican Church, I've got to know: real wine or grape juice?!!! New subscriber, and looking forward to what this channel has to offer!
  • My feelings toward a "formal liturgy" have been changing over the years. When I was younger I felt that liturgy tended towards rote box checking. As I've gotten older I've begun to appreciate the intentionality.
  • I will have to visit one Sunday in the future. If I lived closer I'd be there every Sunday. Thank you
  • Looks like a good order of worship, Pastor. I'm an OPC member, ours is pretty similar. I appreciate the spelling out of the orientation of each section.
  • Thanks for sharing with us your liturgical service, Wilson! Interesting stuff. We in the Orthodox Church hear the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom most Sundays (and feast days) during the year and the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great ~4 times a year. They are fairly similar. You might find them interesting. Almost entirely made up of Psalms and Holy Scripture. The liturgy is sung and chanted a cappella.

Have you read Bryan Chapell's Christ-Centered Worship? He provides a similar rationale for the liturgy of the service. I also found Jeffrey Meyer's The Lord's Service helpful on explaining the rationale of liturgy. Thanks for the video!
