Such great workouts here!! I am following your 28-day challenge, albeit loosely. This is the first time I have found similar routines to what my first Pilates instructor taught me many years ago in LA. As an ex-dancer/gymnast, I originally sought out Pilates after running a marathon on an unhealed psoas I had pulled doing a half marathon 6 weeks before. ('Dumb youth' or false sense of being 'bullet-proof' is my only excuse.) Needless to say, I was hurting bad. Thankfully, Pilates rehab was just what I needed. It was hard, painful work but so worth it. The rehab was filled with the concepts of strength training, tension over time, strength-thru-stretching, slowing down, and exacting patience. But even after rehab, when I went to the studio just to catch a group set, these concepts were still the focus. I may not always be hearing those exact phases in these videos but they are being taught by awesome example. Thank you! Since I got my reformer at home, I have enjoyed trying to mix up other youtube routines with sets more aligned with stretching, strength, or "cardio". Some of the other workouts have been really good. But Rachel, your routines here are a real combo and overall MUCH more in line with what I was originally taught. So happy to find these workouts. They are adaptable to various strength levels, challenging, and not too fast. I would highly recommend these workouts to anyone on the fence. Here's a thought: maybe sometime you could post a general tip video to remind people of the various concepts in Pilates, such as how to hold various parts of your body when working other parts, breathing etc. I catch you describing these things now and again and recall my original instructor. But what have I forgotten?? LOL An overview might be helpful to help us "imprint" those critical basics. Again, thanks so very much! BTW I love the google doc for the 28-day challenge. No more getting Youtube side-tracked every morning. Well, almost...(:

Thanks Rachel for the great reformer full body workout. I reckon it will be both more fun and effective if we use the magic/pilates ring instead of a ball in this workout.
