We decided to do a last minute trip to the Nurburgring in Germany in the Porsche Cayman S that ive just rebuilt. After ive sold the 992 Porsche GT3 to Tavarish ive been on the look out for another GT3. As so many crashes happen on the Nurburgring i thought it might be the perfect place to grab a bargain project car!

Isn't it crazy how knowledgeable Matt has become about expensive cars exp fixing and knowing what's wrong and how to fix them.

As a former ring-driver i can tell you that lap was absolutely crazy. No matter if you have done 1000 laps on the sim. The real deal is different. Bumps, temperatures, traffic, oil, brakes, tires, etc. Many, many tiny things that could have end you up in the guardrails. Skill and a tiny bit of luck brought the porsche back in one piece. Well done. 😉

Hi Mat, loved the video, but as a German I just had one huge ick.. What you did at 5:42 was incredibly dangerous. Never never ever stop on the shoulder for a non-emergency and especially walk around there unless your car absolutely does not move by itself anymore. The accidents stemming from distracted drivers and cars/people on the shoulder here are often some of the worst, so seeing you and your friends just walking around and talking there was unnerving to see. So please, don't do that in the future anymore. If your car does actually brake down, put on safety vests, put the emergency triangle a few hundred meters behind your car and ALWAYS! keep behind the railing.

Mat has become one of my favorite people on YouTube. I started watching him way before he even had a half a million followers and now he’s getting close to two million. Just a all around great guy that is living the dream.
