In this video I give my thoughts on the movie Abigail.

Plot: A group of would-be criminals kidnaps the 12-year-old daughter of a powerful underworld figure. Holding her for ransom in an isolated mansion, their plan starts to unravel when they discover their young captive is actually a bloodthirsty vampire.

    It was okay. Well it was okay until the the third act. I’m going to go into spoilers. The third act is where it lost me. The creation of the male vampire felt like a cheap way to give the writer a way to team up Abigail with the last human. If you’re going to go evil vampire girl, go all in, or don’t it at all. No way I’m buying Abigail just letting her go, given how she acted in the movie. I thought this was a fake out ending, and we’d get a real ending. Like for example Abigail showing up at her house to finish her off. That would have been a better ending.
