'Understanding Pranayama : The 4th Anga' by Sri M

Published 2020-05-29
Sri M - "Looking at the word Pranayama - Prana means life energy, energy that moves in our system. It includes oxygen, which is also energy and various other energies like digestive energy. It is also prana that helps us excrete. There are many pranas in our system like prana, apana, udana and samana. When you say Prana-yama, yama means rules. Therefore pranayama means rules and regulations regarding prana which does not necessarily means swasa...."

Such a weird and powerful sensation every time I listen to him… without hearing his words something reverberates into my heart just by the sound of his voice.
  • Few People are born to define simplicity and yet glorify the world with their Knowledge and attitude. Shri M is one of them for sure.
  • He is superb, no words can define the respect and love I have for Sri M.
  • Sri M is a gift to mankind. A person with clarity can explain things in a way a layman even can comprehend. I am so glad he made all the 8 Anga (parts) of Astangka Yoga in depth and please benefit by watching the rest 7 parts to this too. Patanjali taught this back in Day 1 and the World has benefitted from this. We don't have Patanjali in person now (though some aesthetic can still link to Patanjali), but we have Sri M life in person here and now for us to benefit from. Pranam Sri M Guruji

Why does some so called international acclaimed gurujis charge heavily for such simple yogic practises?? Yoga needs to spread it's pure knowledge. No guruji has patent on this knowledge. Even patanjali did not have ego of some so called guruji. Few of them say learn ONLY from our teachers. Thanks to SriM for bringing out the wonderful knowledge. Pranam to you 🙏
  • No dogmas and rigid theories in his speeches.Down to earth and practical approach to yoga

  • Great presentation by the Guru! I have watched and followed many Guru's to date( including Saguru )but no one ever came this close to explaining the intricacies this well. His insight into the science of Pranayama is amazing. He seems like a yogi, very peaceful, and is a great experience listening to him.
