Drinker really went "Fine. I'll do it myself"
-
“Nah it’ll be fine!” - Ryan Drake after getting drunk right before a big mission
-
“Threat Level: Midnight” A Michael Scott production.
-
I can’t wait for this to be released direct to VHS in 1998.
-
Half expected this trailer to start with a “You know” and end with a “Go away now”
-
This pleases me greatly.
-
Out of every movie in existence, this sure is one of them...
-
I mean...it looks like a movie...so theres that
-
Criticising other people’s work is one thing but having the balls to have a shot at it yourself is extremely admirable. I really hope it does well or I hope it at least gives him a good start in the industry.
-
When the protagonist said "It's Drinkin' time" i was literally shakin'. Truly, a certified "go away now" moment. Bravo, Vince.
-
There's a bot in the comment section who comments "Solid for a first in my opinion. Live the right life." for every comments that criticises the trailer and I'm losing it :DDD
-
1:10 That is some serious eyebrow acting.
-
Critical Drinker: "Who wrote this shite!?" "Oh, fuck."
-
If it screens here, I will watch. I hope there is a post credit scene of the Drinker telling the audience to go away now.
-
Even the Drinker struggles with writing swearing. Writing is harder than it looks.

(From someone who works full time in the film industry) - It's great to see more people giving filmmaking a go. However, this is a great example of how hard it is to make a decent movie. It's also a great example of how comparatively easy it is to be a film critic versus a film maker. This shit takes a lifetime of dedication to get right. I'm sure this has been and will continue to be a humbling experience for all involved. Please keep writing and keep creating though! Could be worth making a short, or proof of concept and hiring a script editor who's got some decent industry credits to vet the script and concept before going into production. Looking forward to seeing what's next man!
-
Wouldn't it be funny if for the next project The Drinker announces a Ryan Drake cinematic universe with a strong female lead for modern audiences?
-
The perfect start for the ending credits: "anyway, that's all I've got for today.. go away now"
-
The critic makes something on par with the stuff he complains about.
-
Critics are like eunuchs in a harem; they know how it's done, they've seen it done every day, but they're unable to do it themselves. Sums up The Critical drinker
