I'm an eye doctor, and many of my colleagues have had to remove hundreds of tarantula hairs from people's eyes before, usually from pet tarantulas that get spooked.

The worst part of those jumping cactus is each needle is sheathed. Even after you pull out the needle you still have to pull out the sheath. Can cause some nasty infections
