However, his views and experience may also spell trouble with Chinese leaders and Republicans. Bloomberg's Jill Disis reports.

November 5th is not voting day, it's a national IQ test.

To save some time: the connection is being an English teacher in China when he was younger.. what a shocking revelation lol

These people are delusional or liars...🤪

I had a great time traveling in China 17 years ago. It might not be the same now, who knows? Xi has been in power almost that whole time and we’ve had the same amount of negative Propaganda here.

I taught in China and South Korea. It is a really common thing to do, especially after college. You people are reaching.

May this election cure the nation and bring it back to normal again. Take that however you want but I know who the real patriots are.

She was just making fun of how politics is a bunch of "white old folks" and she's here to change it up... How so?! 😂
  • @bradybrapples
He taught English it's not like he was on the central committee Sad, desperate attempt at a smear, but this is all they have and their guy has 34 felonies and counting

So Walz taught in China and speaks some Mandarin. How is that a problem? Understand your adversary is better than blindly hate your adversary. Trump talked tough about China while he took money from China and his daughter got numerous patents in the country for her business all while working in the Trump administration.
  • Oh just stop it, yal. Nobody cared about whatever connections this guy had as governor. Some of the country is literally sick of the baseless insults. I'd like to say from both sides, but really, one side presents policies they wanna run their platform on, and the other side just wants to talk smack and call people names. Yal can figure out which side is which.

Plenty of Americans have spent a year or two teaching in China. He did so decades ago. He's not fluent in either Mandarin or Cantonese (despite claims I've seen to the contrary), so at best he may have enough familiarity with Chinese culture/customs to avoid offending Chinese politicians. Then again, I guarantee the US state department has a much deeper understanding of those things, and prepares politicians as needed prior to important interactions.
  • The Democrats got rid of one old white guy, and then choose another old white guy for 2nd chair!
