Shapiro was a bit riskier IMO because he was perceived (rightly or wrongly) as being especially pro-Israel,whereas Harris is trying to place herself into a middle position where she doesn't anger either pro-Israel or pro-Palestine voters.

I agree that she should have picked Sharpio. He lead the polls from Democratic voters. Kelly was second. They scored way higher then Watz. I am more favorable of Watz then Harris though. Qould have really favored a Kelly, Shapio ticket.
