Piano Documentary no. 24, Power in a Hailstorm

Have you ever tried to play the piano in a gale, where the wind is howling and everyone around you are shouting at each other in their attempts to communicate? May be not, but this is what to-day’s documentary is all about. I can only say that “somebody” (and they are invisibly present) do not want me to show the obvious progress in my ability to play the piano. I am really getting better and better, and there is an indisputable growth in sound as well as in the freedom of expression. But even the tiny Prelude in C by Bach is attacked. But I insist on going on, and in this way, you can hear the increasing power on all levels: sound, technique, interpretation. Fasten seatbelts!
