  • Sandra Bullock has actually both US and German citizenship. Her mother was German and she lived in Germany in her childhood. She was raised in Nürnberg, and that is also why she speaks with a slight franconian dialect.

Kobe was raised in Italy his whole life until high school. His dad played professional there.
  • Sandra Bullock actually has a German accent. Her mother is German and she grew up in Nuremberg until she was 12 years old. Therefore, she has a slight Franconian accent.
  • @Frahamen
Sandra Bullock is so good that she does the German thing to say "I'm really bad at -Insert language-" and than speak it fluently.
  • @Nikioko
Cha Du-ri was born in Frankfurt and grew up there. So, yes, he is a native speaker. His father Cha Bum-kun played for Eintracht Frankfurt when he was born.
  • Knowing 3 of these languages and having listened to the others, their advice for how to learn each one individually at the end is really helpful.
  • @mshaftenberg
Awesome group of girls here, kudos! Respectful, funny and no one running over other's mouth and taking a lead role. Very entertaining to watch.
  • we should never be ashamed of not necessarily speaking a foreign language perfectly. The most important thing will always be to try, it shows people that you are interested in them. And what could be more gratifying than seeing a face light up when a few words, even awkwardly pronounced, are said. Take care, have fun

Hi as a Norwegian we share a lot of words with Sweden and Denmark. We have a saying Norwegian’s talk more like the Swedes and we write more like the Danes.
  • @hold982
They all use hand gestures - no one notices. An Italian moves a finger - "Ooooooo you're speaking with your hands how cuuuute"...
  • @dizkidliz
Sandra Bullock has a German mother and spent several years of her childhood in parts of Germany and Austria.
  • i couldn't help but laugh at will speaking swedish, not just because of the delivery but also because of the grammar. He said it as if he was directing the message to one person (DU är så DUKTIG! DU är STARK!) when it's actually directed at a group of people (NI är så DUKTIGA! NI är STARKA!)😂
  • @PerksJ
The french are so hyper critical of foreigners speaking their language I find. I have never tried Swedish but every time I try to practice with native speakers of italian, Spanish and german they are so forgiving and happy I am learning their language! I am most proficient in French in fact and am criticized most by French speakers.
  • @kikushhhh
Sandra Bullock is German so it's not a bit surprise her German was so good :D
  • @henri191
I still learning german and for me of course is hard , even though i know the basic german , as i know portuguese and spanish i had not some much problems with Italian
  • @Nikioko
Sandra Bullock speaks a bit of a Franconian dialect, as she grew up in Nuremberg. And you notice that she doesn't speak German so often, because she uses “Sprache” instead of “Rede”, which both mean “speech”. But the first one refers to language or voice, while the second is a prepared monologue.
  • @jacocharo
This is so funny. The French woman reacted exactly like Katya and Bob The Drag Queen said the French react.
  • @jyc313
So true about speaking with others, because you may know how to say something but if you don’t understand the other party, you may not be able to respond properly. If you don’t speak with others, you may only understand the most proper form of a reply to your phrase, which is hard to find outside of language learning software since most people use colloquialisms , slangs, and shortcuts.
  • Could have posted Bradley Cooper and Jodie Foster speaking French too. Both are quite exceptional, especially Jodie Foster.
