  • At this point, forget basketball, I just hope the dude can walk and live in general without pain. Kid is only 25
  • This sucks to hear. I watched him during his time as a Pelican and while his play from day to day was inconsistent , the flashes were there. While I was bummed he was traded to the Bulls, I was happy to see him flourish there. Hope he can make a comeback and be able to contribute meaningfully to a winning team
  • I respect the way dude not only led his brothers, but got out from underneath the shadow of his father. If anyone can be the first to come back from this, it’s him. Much respect and many prayers.

Your channel is so informative and so spot on in almost every single situation. When you covered Damar Hamlin, you were the first to post a video and was very accurate as to what happened. Whoever has you for a doctor, they are very fortunate and should consider themselves lucky to have such a down to earth and well informed person such as yourself. If only you were in my area so I could be a patient as I have struggled with many surgeries in the last several years such as 3 Hip Replacements including 1 posterior, 2 lateral, a meniscus repair for a crescent tear, 2 double hernia surgeries with mesh replacement, an Achilles anchor due to a large bone spur that punctured it and had to be repaired as well. This was my last 6 years however the hip replacements all happened in 2016 in a 10 months span and the revision was due to a gap in the joint from the posterior in the ball part of the hip. My favorite channel as far as the medical channels I watch. I like to stay informed as best I can due to all my issues. Thanks so much for your content I learn so so much.

I had a torn ACL and meniscus in the left knee at 19. Did surgery and intense rehab. Was fine until 43 when I tore the graft ACL. The three doctors I saw recommended no surgery this time around. I’ve been doing intense rehab since which is helping but that lingering pain is hard at times. I feel bad for anyone with knee injuries knowing how that can change your life. Much blessings to him for a speedy recovery.
  • Prayers up for the young man. IDC what you think of Him Lavar Melo Gelo this is a heartbreaking and profoundly sad story on every level. Lonzo worked his ENTIRE life for one singular purpose: to be a star basketball player. All that may be taken away in a flash not because of PEDs being a bust or criminality but because his own body simply failed him. Just as a human being that is such a tragic story. You work your ass off for so long only for it all to be stolen from you by your own body not holding up. If he is somehow able to play kudos otherwise I just want Lonzo to have a comfortable life where he’s not in pain. Throwing a ball into a hoop is great but in the end this is a person we’re talking about and life comes first.

My goodness Brian, you're so freaking excellent in your craft! I can't state this enough how much I learn something new from your videos all the time 🙂 KEEP UP THE OUTSTANDING WORK!
  • @stelkins625
I had the MACI procedure done in both of my knees. Changed my life! I hope that Lonzo has a successful procedure and is able to return to playing!
  • I am 32 years old. I had my first meniscus injury at 14, I’ve had 2 other meniscus surgeries on the same knee since then. I’ve played football in college and at a professional level. My knee has been through a lot lol. I was told early in my 20s by a doctor I would 100% need a knee replacement. I refuse to believe that is my only option and hopefully before it becomes necessary there can be better procedures in the near future to prevent this 🙏🏿
  • So informative and learned a lot in just a 9 minutes video! Hope Lonzo is back to being pain free and hooping sooner rather than later 🙏🏻
  • @dunmatta2670
Thoroughly enjoyed this explanation. Thank you doc for the detail and helping to get us a high level understanding.
  • For me, the more science-oriented the video the better! While I'm familiar with the basics (anatomy, injury pathology, etc.) it's fascinating to hear the professional thought process behind various treatment plans, I always feel like I walk away having learned something.

feel so bad for Lonzo...I mean as you mentioned Oden, I also think of his teamate Brandon Roy as well ... Horrible misfortune for both of them and the what could of been with then Blazers team
  • @sethpigg4468

  • I had this done on my femural cartilage after having it damaged by being hit by a car. It has changed my life for the better
  • Props to the doc for the info. Really hope Lonzo Ball can play again. He's a fun player to watch.
  • One of my fav videos that you’ve made, great job. Learned a lot
