Dr. Mike should start a TV show to bust all of these medical misinformation on weekly basis...!
Edit: This is a compliment, calm down people. I don't want him to go for TV either, he's doing well on YT where he can make his own creative decisions..!

One of Gary's biggest talking points is the a percentage of people not being able to methylate certain things. Then recommending after testing taking certain amino acids that can help the body process things it has trouble processing. Why are Dr's avoiding supplements like Nitric Oxide (L Arginine) that is a known Vasodilator or Trimethylglycine and going right into prescribing angiotensin receptor blockers?
  • @Mushroom-gv5rw
the irony of being served a v-shred ad at the end of this video 😂
  • Do a story on hospitals and doctors getting kickbacks from corporate pharmaceutical companies on pushing certain meds, too.
  • @bubblegumbunny
"Being unafraid to say 'I don't know' is the mark of a true medical expert" THANK YOU, PREACH IT!!!!
  • @301cummins
Gary says in multiple interviews he’s not a doctor. He has doctors on his team.
  • I’m a doctor myself and I really appreciate you sharing this. You need to use your voice to really push this point home. All these health gurus are just researchers and marketers. I was telling my wife they have no repercussions if their advice goes bad for a patient they’re just pushing products and making money.
  • Hi Dr. Mike! I'm a psychologist from Brazil and I would like to thank you so much for this video! I feel that sometimes people forget that in order to be a good health care professional we need to constantly keep up with the science and we can't just say things because we think they make sense. And as a part of that we also need to recognise the things that we don't know or that still needs better understanding. I loved the way you showed how this gurus use pseudoscience to take advantage of people. Thank you!!

I know far too many people who are reasonably smart, educated folks, but will still share health guru nonsense. It's alarming.

This is a fact Brecka gets right: Most of the times, what MDs in the US do facing a patient with a chronic condition is put them on medication for life while callling the next patient in order to do the same. Actually, helping the patient is bad for the humongous business health care in the US is.
  • @allantotti
Seems like mainstream medicine and big pharma are freaking out... I love it.
  • @fricki1997
I really think it's time we let the people that make these claims be held legally responsible for them. Both in practise and on social media.
  • @joeyhomewood
Unfortunately the medical field is run by insurance companies and pharma companies because it is BIG business. And if your doctor doesn't subscribe to the 'Standard of Care' that was created by insurance and pharma, they can be sued and held liable. It's a tough position for a doctor to be in. And often the standard of care is ‘keep doing what you’re doing but also take this drug’. It leaves patients feeling that they’re not being heard and that they do not have options.

And to make matters worse, MDs have very little nutrition and lifestyle training, which is the root of where most disease comes from.

Our healthcare system is almost 100% reactive and not focused on preventative treatment

The ‘gray area’ as you refer to it is growing exponentially bc of this.. people want health experts, not drug dealers. And so too often we look to ‘IKA’s for alternative / natural solutions
  • @MichiganOutdoor
Dr Mike you are ok with not knowing what causes depression but have no problem prescribing medication. Sounds like a great way to treat people. No wonder people don’t trust the medical community.
  • @therealJayRoe
Gary Brecka has time and time again explained that life expectancy predictions are estimates. To pretend that he claimed certainty is dishonest and in itself misinformation.
  • @derpyball
as someone who gets occular migraines i can 1000% say it's most likely not bc of a "sodium deficiency"
  • @ZAM627
These fake doctors need to be held accountable
  • @wderric1
I’ve had my share of health issues so I’ve gone down the rabbit hole listening to guys like Brecka, and they’ve taught me countless things that, like Dana, have changed my life. I appreciate what they tell me but I actually also really appreciate what Dr. Mike says. It’s all good information. Just gotta sift through it all to figure out what’s best for you.
  • Interesting thing is Dana White was seeing the best doctors in the US about his health. He was on several different medications prescribed by said Doctors yet he still had out of control blood pressure, triglycerides, severe sleep apnea among other things. The highly educated Doctors couldn’t solve a single one of his ailments. Now HE HAS NO AILMENTS! Nuff said.
