Let's Talk About Nintendo's Future Movies...

Which upcoming Nintendo movies do YOU think will come into fruition? There's so many possibilities!!!

It would be amazing to see other Nintendo franchises we will see them as movies, the Nintendo Cinematic Universe will be crazy!

Just cuz one studio made a mario movie doesn't mean other studios can't COLLABORATE and make a smash bros movie. Let me tell you, its gonna happen.

I just want more nintendo movies don't care if they are connected or not.

For a Zelda movie, I'd want them to use the Twilight Princess aesthetic ( to set itself apart and maybe push the age rating), but make a composite version of the characters and world. With Link maybe having 4 or 5 lines

A luigi's mansion movie for halloween would be AWESOME! 💚

I think that studio ghibli would be a great studio to make a Zelda movie

While games like Zelda and Metroid aren't a great fit for Illumination's usual fare, keep in mind that near the end of last year Illumination revealed they were opening a sub-studio aimed at teen and adult animation. If that thing takes off they might be able to manage it

Super Mario Bros. 2 is inevitable. And a Donkey Country Movie is a safe bet since, there’s a Donkey Long attraction being constructed at Super Nintendo World, and with how fleshed out the Kong’s were in the Mario Movie. Zelda would work better a a Studio Ghibli movie, and a live action Metroid with Brie Larson as Samus could work if done right.

A Kirby movie/tv show would be awesome, maby Kirby would stop Meta knight from taking over dream land and King dedede from stealing all the food convincing them to team up and fight off a Dark matter invasion

If we include the NCU theory, I think they should start with the franchises of the Original 12. Then, the most likely of all (if we only include the references) is Star Fox.

Really really hope we get luigis mansion. Charlie day would be so perfect and it would make up for luigi nt being included a ton in the first movie. and also works for luigi to repay his big brother back for saving him in this one

I absolutely agree with this, while the idea of a smash bros movie sounds really cool, each franchise has so much more potential as it's own original stories. I don't want a somewhat confusing mess of movies like the mcu, especially looking at how it's ended up. Anime and Zelda would fit sooo perfectly together, a good example imo are all the zelda mangas. And while I think illuminations art style worked really well with the mario movie, I think other franchises would benefit wayy more from different styles, an illumination zelda is a bit frightening

If they ever did a Luigi's Mansion movie I actually would like to see Hank Azaria cast as Professor E.Gadd. He's a well known voice actor plus his Professor Frink voice would fit the charecter perfectly

I honestly had 2 theories of what shorts for the Mario movie would be. 1: it would be a short of when Mario and Luigi were working for spike, aka before they chose to quit and start their own plumbing company out of their life savings. 2: it would be about their cousin Stanley from donkey Kong 3, during the absence of Mario and Luigi, Stanley has to fill in the cracks and keep their plumbing business going, but things go crazy for both his clients, and his anxiety problems.
