Robins crush on Batgirl is more akin to having a crush on a coworker than "surrogate sister" since Barbara isn't adopted by Batman as a ward
-
It's interesting that as Robin Jason was hated but as Red Hood he is one of the most popular Batman characters
-
I don't understand how you get this idea that Batman is "for children." The character moved beyond that realm a long time ago.

Amazing video!👍👏 I just began my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They have an incredible range of digital comics for every genre, including the hard to find ones. Lifetime updates too!😁

Batgirl isn't a surrogate sister to Robin. She's Commissioner Gordon's daughter who just also happens to work with Batman to fight crime. That would be no different than having a romantic interest in a co-worker, which while frowned upon by management and HR isn't creepy or inappropriate.

"Batman (a character for children)." And there is the crux of the problem with this list, the assumption that Batman is for kids.
-
I'm starting to think you all know as much about comics as buzzfeed does about reporting or writing.
-
Batman 'wetting himself' wasn't a result of fear, it was a result of being exposed to intense heat from the exploding wall. Smith stated that he researched it and even firefighters have said that when suddenly exposed to extreme heats they have had a bladder spasm causing.. well, you know what that causes.

Villains like Two Face and The Joker do bad stuff? Wow!
-
Let me get this straight: You wanted appropriate stories with characters like Joker and Two-Face...I don't think you've been paying too much atention.
-
Batman is not a kid comic any more......
-
Robin and Batgirl aren't related and they have dated when he became Nightwing so I don't see how that's inappropriate or how it would result in inbred children since THEY ADE NOT RELATED IN ANYWAY WHAT SO EVER!!!
-
Sorry, but the killing joke is an iconic Storyline which is meant to be so disturbing
-
Barbara Gordon is not Robin's Sister by adoption guys
-
The Joker never raped Barbara Gordon in The Killing Joke.
-
Alan Moore stated that the joker didn't rape batgirl just took pics.
-
Okay, when you say "inappropriate" you mean for children, right?
-
Just for accuracies sake joker did not rape Barbra in the Killing Joke. The author Alan Moore has said he did not and it never said the did in the book or following books. Important detail they should not have assumed on. The animated movie implied differently but that because Brian azzarelo wrote (the adaptation) it and he writes most his villains that way... but even with that the producer bruce tim said no to it. So either way no rape in the Killing Joke. It's still plenty messed up without it really. But it rather plot driven

"everyone who voted yes on robin's death is a psycho" pulls up a picture of the joker when he cut his face on and reattached it
