For Nexon to adjust their pricing one of two things has to be happening: either the game is days from dying or Uncle Nexon has been visited by the three ghosts of Christmas.

Little précision , it's actually 23 times the price for the catalyst , it's 1.5 USD in Warframe

It's not a 6% drop chance. It's 25% chance to get the relic, which gives a 6% chance to get the part. Then you still need to craft it which involves more rng drops so it's a mess. The farm ruins the game.

Nexon has perfected how to implement the Gambler's "Near Miss" psychology, most often used in slot machines. This is also the same company who patented the system for dynamic drop chance - and subsequently got sued by the Korean FTC for bad consumer practices - and lost.

No fucking way they award you an “Idiot” title for using 20 Crystallization Catalysts😭So shameless. You will feel like an idiot for farming 20 of them and you will feel it even more if you pay for them

Another thing is how they limit your inventory, descendant slots, equipment slots A LOT. Every single mission you go, you need to play invenotry management

Man, me and my friends are suuuper enjoying the game, and I hate it. Its like "i know the monetization system is trash, i know the grind is awful" but my brain just goes "shiny new toy, you are having fun, dont stop" against my better judgment

This is Nexon, the company that is famous for being fined 9 mil usd for lying to players for 10 years. In Maple Story they were changing the drop rates of lootbox items that give you a significant buff ( imagine incarnon weapons were a gacha). They were lowering the drop rate if u were playing constantly and buffing them if u didnt play that much.

Terraria is currently 50% off for 5 bucks, years of massive free updates. I just mention this to highlight the range of value one can get for their money. And guess what? People like good value, it's one of the best-selling games of all time for a reason. It's so sad that this apparently isn't as efficient as farming whales etc.

Haven't spent a single dime and probably won't looking at how predatory this game is. You know a company is greedy when the battle pass doesn't give you your currency back after completing the pass.

You should absolutely not support this company. They were fined like 6 months ago for $10 MILLION for manipulating drop rates in their other games for like 10 gd years!

I was expecting a terrible monetization system and farms that push you to the cash shop. Nexon has always been ultra predatory. Pretty sure you have to pay to chat in Maple Story. The game play is good enough and the modding is fun but I won't be spending anything in the shop unless they make some adjustments on the monetization

Thank God we still have Warframe. Played all the betas, preloaded the game, jumped in, saw the prices and was out quicker than Gauss. Warframe spoiled me as a player, it is very hard not see these things in TFD and think to myself; why even bother.

Those mini games with the tombs are so annoying because if you fail you lose the orb and Enzo is a must have if you want to easily open the purple ones

I feel like in warframe, the only paywalled content I felt forced to buy, was inventory slots. And even then you can trade people for premium currency. Reactors/Catalysts aren't hard to get either, just timegated.

Just think about how much forma and catalyst u might need and how ridiculous the farm is. I quit the game as soon as i realised this

The game is designed to force you into paying. Every step of the way you are fighting an up hill battle. While Warframe is a good game that makes you want to pay to support the dev team. Huge night and day difference.

You don't need 'every character in the game' to do void shards, if you want to be able to farm all of them yourself you will need a character of each type, so Fire, Chill, Toxic, electric and non-attribute (5 characters total). But you can also farm any void fragment just by teaming up with other players (just like doing a mission with others), regardless of what character you are playing (You can't get repeat rewards though). Hope that helps :) (EDIT) - also, Enzo. Enzo is kinda like Last Descendants version of Nekros and Limbo from Warframe. You know how Nekros gives you extra loot by rolling the loot table twice when you desecrate dead bodies. Or how everyone farms for Limbo because he makes doing spy missions an absolute breeze. Enzo is like that - you farm him so you can then in turn farm for resources by opening vaults. You only get extra bonuses from vaults (you don't get 10 times the loot all the time or any loot bonus at all for doing missions or picking up normal loot etc - only from doing the vault mini game). End game you really need to focus opening vaults and Enzo makes doing them much easier and buffs the rewards, so yeah he's a must have for end game farming. He's quite easy to farm for and unlock though for free. But that's his main thing, he's a niche character for that role. Same with Sharon - you can use her to go invis and infiltrate the outposts, disable the computers kill the boss and get double the rewards, thats her role/niche.

I just opened 17 of the same relics on Grave Walker and got the Syncytium BP every single time, despite it and the Lepic BP both being a 38% drop. Sussy baka.
