This is absolutely the very best teaching video I've seen on adding a watermark in Picasa--all the others are too confusing! Thanks for the tips!

For the clueless, older artists like me, the full explanation was necessary and very welcome. I needed to familiarize myself with the vocabulary and the screen. And it's good to know both options. Thank you so much, Susan!

I know everyone hates long vids. But being thorough is kinda important. It's not useless talking I assure you. I usually redo the videos two or three times before they are uploaded to be complete and correct errors.

Actually, you can edit them right on your picasa web albums. Your albums have a folder where a little "e" shows. The title of the blog should show up as that folder. You can go into that folder, click on the images and then click on "Edit in picasa". It will automatically update when your done. go to picasaweb.google.com

Hello Susan, thanks for your helpful tutorial. Although I've used Picasa for a long time, I wasn't sure of the best way to add a watermark to pictures I post online. Now I can have a go. I have a couple of questions though; if you are able to answer them, please, I'd be very grateful. Thanks! 1) You say that the first method (watermark) cannot be undone; is this also the case when you use the textbox method? 2) Do you know if I can add a watermark to pictures already uploaded to Facebook?

Thank you so much for this video Susan. I do have one concern. If I use the watermark feature in Picasa, it allows me to do that to multiple pictures that I'm uploading to the online space. I have a folder of 20 files I'd like to upload, but I'd like to use the text transparency feature. Can that be done to multiple pictures at once also? Thank you so much Demaster
  • Thanks Susan! That is great for text, but what about adding an actual logo image? How do we do that?

Thanks Susan. I have uploaded over a thousand photos to Picasa, some are already on my blog. Is there anyway I can add watermark to all my pics AT ONCE? I would be very grateful if that is possible.

I realize, I didn't have the new head set yet for my audio file.

So I log in to Picasa web, I click on the album that as the 400 images that I have posted on my blog and I look for a...? I am lost again.

I could cry... I have over 400 photos on my web album. I would like to add a water mark to them all in one go. I could in theory down load all my photos to my PC then re upload them having checked the auto water mark button in Picasa. The only problem is that all my image are on my blog too. Which means they will then have to be reposted to blogger. Heeeeelp! Thanks in advance
