watermarking your images online - how to protect your photos

you will never be able to protect your images completely, and rather then worry about it, you are better off leaving a watermark and meta description so you information goes with your work wherever they might end up. That is the best you can do and on long term you might actually benefit from it.
The best practice for managing your photos online are :
1- name your files properly! make the best out of the name as it is google transparent
2 - watermark your images with a software
3- include meta data and mea description which is not seen by the average user but for the trained eye they might be found

Hey, there is another way to protect your photos. You can digitally sign them using x.509 certificates. Sure, it is a bit more complicated scenario, but digital signature is 100% way and is accepted almost in every court. Have a look how we do an experiment with Flickr images and protect the author rights. Flickr photo protection - pkiImage and X.509 certificates So far, image with digital signature are supported in any internet site which doesn't change the original image itself - unfortunately, Facebook post-processes the image making digital signature invalid (bytes have changed). I want to know how to rename them as shown in my folder. Everyday I have to do like these manually for 1000+ pics. Check the link: "http://tinypic.com/r/256tu2r/9". So I want to keep the price as shown and just change the front letters to like BJS0936 and so on. So how can I do that via this software?
